Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes. A tutor can teach your child at home in Sector 168 or online, and the practical pool is tutors who ride the Aqua Line to Sector 142 or come by road from Sectors 135, 142 and 144. Share your society, tower, class, board and subject with NXTutors and we send two or three matched tutors, each with their fee shown up front. The opening lesson is a free demo, and moving to a different tutor later costs you nothing.
Sector 168 is part of the Noida Expressway zone of Noida. It is a compact sector of a handful of large high-rise societies, sitting between the expressway, the business parks of Sector 142 and the old village of Dostpur Mangrauli. Below we cover the route, the society gate, the timing and what lessons look like here.

Sector 168 is small and almost entirely residential. Property portals list about half a dozen societies, all high-rise and gated, and describe the sector as clubhouse-style apartment living along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway. The village area of Dostpur Mangrauli and the newer Sector 167A sit at its edges, with Sector 135 and Sector 142 close by.
Because the sector mixes studio and one-bedroom units with family-size flats, its residents include young professionals working in the nearby IT parks as well as families with school-age children. Portals and reviews point to the offices of Advant Navis Business Park and the tech campuses around Sectors 135 and 142 as the main nearby workplaces. For a parent, that often means both adults keep office hours and a lesson slot has to fit around a commute that may be short in distance but slow at peak time.
Daily shopping happens mostly in the local markets of Sectors 142 and 135, according to portals, and residents travel out of the sector for malls.
Locality reviews of Sector 168 on property portals raise a handful of points again and again. Here is the tuition meaning of each.
Several reviewers also mention that they would like more educational institutions close by, which is part of why many families here lean on home and online tuition.
The nearest station is Noida Sector 142 on the Aqua Line, an elevated stop that opened with the line in January 2019. Portals place it a few kilometres from the sector, with Noida Sector 137, one stop north, a little further. A tutor who lives near any Aqua Line station between Sector 51 and Greater Noida can ride to Sector 142 and finish the trip by auto or cab. A tutor coming from Delhi can change from the Blue Line at Sector 52 to Sector 51 and ride the Aqua Line down.
By road, tutors come along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway or local links that portals list, such as Bandh Road and the FNG road. Tutors who live in Sector 135, 142 or 144 have the shortest trips and can often avoid the busiest stretch of the expressway altogether.
The business parks around Sector 142 are the reason traffic is heavy at certain hours. When offices empty in the evening, the roads near the station and the expressway slip roads fill quickly, so a 5.30 pm slot can be harder to keep than a 4 pm or 7.30 pm one. We do not give travel minutes, since they change so much by hour; ask each tutor which way they will come and how long they usually allow.
For a tutor arriving by metro, agree a pick-up point or a clear route from the station to your gate, and check the last train time on the NMRC site if your lesson runs late.
All the societies in Sector 168 have staffed gates with visitor checks. Before the demo, enter the tutor as an expected guest in your society's app, or give the guard their name, and send the tutor the society, gate, tower and flat number. In a society the size of 3C Lotus Zing, the tower number matters as much as the society name.
Once lessons are regular, ask the facility office whether a recurring visitor can be pre-approved for fixed days, so each lesson does not start with an intercom call. Because reviewers say parking is not always well organised, confirm where visitors may leave a two-wheeler before the first visit.
Most lessons take place in the flat. Some societies list clubhouses, but private teaching in shared rooms depends on each society's rules, so ask first. Keep an adult at home during lessons, especially for younger children, and keep the study room door open.
If you prefer a woman tutor, add that to your request and we will look for a woman tutor for home lessons in Noida who fits your class and timing. Every tutor who joins NXTutors completes an ID check: a one-time code confirms their phone or email, and they upload a government photo ID that our team looks at. It is an identity check, not a police or background check. Read how NXTutors checks tutor IDs, and use the free demo to judge the teaching.
Families in Sector 168 commonly ask for CBSE and ICSE/ISC tutors. Some ask about Cambridge IGCSE or IB, usually for Maths or the sciences, and a smaller number about UP Board.
For a home tutor, the board changes the books and the style of practice more than the logistics. A CBSE tutor works from NCERT books and the sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in; from 2026 CBSE Class 10 students also have a second board exam in the same year for improvement. An ICSE or ISC tutor needs the school's list of prescribed texts from the start. For IGCSE Chemistry or Physics at home, ask the tutor whether they have taught the same Cambridge syllabus code your school uses.
See our IGCSE tutors in Noida page for that board, and the full board comparison guide if you are still choosing.
For young children, a tutor who comes at the same hour on the same days builds a routine faster than any worksheet. Studio and one-bedroom flats are common in some Sector 168 societies, so set aside a corner with a small table and good light that is used only for lessons. Forty-five minutes is plenty at this age.
These are the years to catch weak spots in Maths, Science and English before they harden. Many families here start with one tutor for Maths and Science together. Ask the tutor to look at the school notebook every week, because that shows what the class actually covered. Our science home tuition in Noida page has more on these years.
Board preparation begins in Class 9. Two or three lessons a week of about ninety minutes, with a timed question set at the end, is a common pattern. With both parents often on office hours, a weekend lesson can be the one where a parent sits in for the last ten minutes and hears what the tutor thinks. See the Class 9 home tutors in Noida page for the start of that stage.
At this level a family usually takes a different tutor for each subject. Science students need Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology; commerce students need Accountancy, Economics and often Maths. In Sector 168, the metro link means a subject specialist from further along the Aqua Line is a realistic option for a weekly home visit, with extra practice online.
JEE and NEET preparation adds hours alongside school. Some students here combine school-subject tuition at home with online entrance practice, which avoids the evening trip to a centre. Plan a weekly timetable with the tutor so the two do not compete.
Board exams for CBSE, ICSE, ISC and UP Board students fall in the first months of the year; take the dates from cbse.gov.in, cisce.org or upmsp.edu.in rather than from forwarded messages. IB Diploma students sit in May or November, and IGCSE candidates in the March, June or November series. As exams near, ask the tutor to switch to past papers, and agree whether extra revision lessons will be online so office-hour traffic does not cut them short.
At home. Your child studies in a familiar room and you can watch how it goes. In Sector 168 the metro widens the field, because a tutor can ride to Sector 142 rather than drive the whole way.
Online. No trip at all, and the choice of teachers is no longer limited by distance. It suits international boards, specialist senior subjects and the days traffic makes a home visit unreliable. See online tutors for Noida students.
A coaching centre. Your child does the travelling, usually on the expressway or the metro, and comes home after dark in winter. It can work for a senior student who wants a batch and has a safe way back, but it is a bigger daily commitment than home tuition.
Many families settle on a home tutor for school subjects and an online class for one specialist need.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors on NXTutors set their own rates, and each one's fee is on your shortlist before the demo.
What moves the fee is the class and board, the subject, how long each lesson is and how many you book each week. Travel matters too: a tutor living in Sector 135 or 142 has a short ride, while one coming by metro and cab, or driving through the office rush, may ask a little more or prefer longer lessons on fewer days.
To compare quotes, work out the monthly total from the hourly fee, the lesson length and the number of lessons. Agree in advance how holidays, cancellations and extra pre-exam lessons are charged.
We did not find a public library, reading room or community centre in Sector 168, and portals name no public park inside the sector. Some societies list clubhouses, and whether a student can study there depends on society rules. For most children, a quiet corner at home is the study space, and the sector's calm evenings help.
Each link opens the Noida page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in Sector 168 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.
AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 168 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Chemistry, Biology and English are among the subjects you can ask for from Sector 168, at home or online. Give the class, the board and what the school has covered, and we will put forward two or three suitable teachers.
If nobody is listed for Sector 168 itself yet, you will first see tutors whose home or travel areas fall in the rest of the Noida Expressway zone, then tutors from elsewhere in Noida, and after them home tutors based in Ghaziabad or Greater Noida. Online tutors come at the end, Uttar Pradesh first and then beyond, and every card gives its reason.
For NEET, tell us whether your child wants help with school Biology and Chemistry, the entrance syllabus or both. If your child is in an IGCSE class, say so and name the subjects. If your child follows UP Board, which sets the High School and Intermediate papers, say which year. Sector 104, Sector 105, Sector 107 and Sector 108 are listed alongside this page if you want to compare. Whoever you shortlist, ask how they plan the first month and how you will hear what has changed for your child.
