Home tuition in Noida Expressway: the local guide

Reviewed by NXTutors team · 16 Oct 2026 · Facts on places, roads and exams are checked against public sources.

Home tutors along the Noida Expressway: the short answer

Yes, you can get a home tutor anywhere on the Noida Expressway belt, from the plotted lanes of Sector 92 and Sector 108 to the tower societies of Sectors 137, 143 and 168. Tell us your sector, society or block, class, board and subject. NXTutors sends two or three matched tutors, each with a fee you see before booking. Your first class is free, held at home or online as you prefer, and a later change of tutor costs nothing. The main planning point on this belt is simple: pick a tutor who does not have to fight the expressway at the hour you need them.

How the belt is laid out: from plots to towers

The zone follows one road for a long way, and the kind of home changes as you travel south-east along it. That change decides how a tutor gets in, how long a class should be and how far a tutor can sensibly come.

The plotted start: Sectors 92, 99, 105 and 108

Near the Noida end, several sectors were laid out by the Noida Authority as residential plots. Sector 92 has pockets such as Block A and Block B, Sector 108 has four plotted blocks, A to D, and Sector 99 has two residential blocks, some plots still being built on. Sector 105 is low-rise too, with kothis, builder floors and parks. Here a tutor usually rings a bell at a gate of a house, not a society barrier.

Mixed sectors: 93, 104 and 110

A few sectors combine everything. Sector 104 holds high-rise apartments, builder floors, houses and the village of Hajipur. Sector 110 mixes society flats, villas and local markets. Sector 93 has apartment societies, authority flats and plots, with the shops of Gejha village at its edge. Tutor arrival can differ from one lane to the next.

The tower belt: 93A, 93B, 100, 107, 128, 134, 137, 143, 144 and 168

Most of the zone is gated group housing: two- to four-bedroom flats in societies with clubhouses and guards. Sector 100 and Sector 107 have larger flats; Sector 128 sits inside township-style campuses with some golf-facing villas; Sector 168 runs from studios to four-bedroom homes; Sectors 143 and 144 sit beside large office campuses.

The far end: Sectors 150 and 151

Sector 150 was planned as a green, low-density sector with land kept for sports and open space, and Sector 151 sits toward the Greater Noida end, with the FNG Expressway nearby. Both are still filling in, so distance is the first question for any tutor here.

Which tutor fits your child?

What families on the belt weigh up

Resident reviews on property portals, and news reports on the expressway, return to a few themes. We list them as planning points, not as complaints about any society or authority.

  • Evening traffic on the spine. News reports describe slow-moving traffic in both directions on the expressway at evening peak. A class timed before the rush, or set for later in the evening, starts on time more often.
  • Metro is near for some, not all. Residents of Sector 134 say the Sector 137 station is not an easy walk, and Sector 150 reviews note thin public transport inside the sector. Ask a tutor how they would finish the last stretch.
  • Monsoon roads. Sector 137 residents mention waterlogging in heavy rain. Agree at the start that a wet evening can switch to an online class at the same time.
  • Parking. Some Sector 168 reviewers say parking is not well organised in parts. Tell the tutor where a two-wheeler or car can wait.
  • Quiet inner roads. Sector 128 residents describe clean, quiet internal roads that can feel empty late at night. Families often prefer an earlier slot, or a woman tutor for later ones.
  • Still-building sectors. Towers under construction in Sectors 134 and 151, and the long registration freeze in Sector 150 that eased after a Supreme Court order in November 2025, mean some families have only recently moved in. A newly arrived family can start with online classes while they learn the roads.

Stations and roads across the belt

The Aqua Line

The Aqua Line of the Noida Metro opened on 25 January 2019 and runs from Noida Sector 51 to a depot in Greater Noida. Along this zone it calls at Noida Sector 101, Noida Sector 81, NSEZ, Noida Sector 83 and Noida Sector 137, and then at a run of stations numbered 142 to 148 beside the expressway. Sector 137, 143 and 144 have stations named after them; Sectors 92, 93 and 93B lean on Sector 83; Sectors 99 and 100 use Sector 101; Sector 150 uses Sector 148, and Sector 168 uses Sector 142.

A planned second line

A corridor from Botanical Garden to Sector 142, about 11.56 km with eight elevated stations, has central approval according to a February 2026 report. Planned stations include Noida Sector-105, Noida Sector-108 and Noida Sector-93. It is not built yet, so plan today's routes around the Aqua Line.

Roads

The expressway itself was built to take pressure off the old Delhi–Agra highway, and it now carries the belt's daily office traffic. Dadri Road serves Sector 107 and runs near Sector 134, Vishwakarma Road links Sector 110 towards the expressway, Abdul Kalam Marg and Gujjar Road reach Sector 143, and the FNG Expressway serves Sector 151. The Noida Authority has approved a separate four-lane road along the Yamuna–Hindon doab as an alternative to the expressway; until it opens, inner roads are what a nearby tutor uses.

Journey minutes are left out here on purpose, since expressway timings change hour by hour. Ask each tutor where they start, and whether their route needs the expressway at all.

How tutors move around inside the zone

  • Inner-road hops. Sectors 92, 93, 93A, 93B, 108 and 110 sit close together, so a tutor teaching in one can usually reach the next without joining the expressway. The same is true of 104, 105 and 107.
  • Metro hops. A tutor who lives near any Aqua Line station can ride between Sector 83, Sector 137 and the 142 to 148 stations, then cover the last stretch by auto or on foot.
  • Long hauls to avoid at peak. A tutor crossing from the Sector 92 end to Sector 150 or 151 in the evening is on the busiest part of the day's traffic. Keep such matches for weekends, or make them partly online.
  • Specialists from elsewhere. For ISC, IB, IGCSE or entrance work the right tutor may live outside the belt. Mixing a weekly visit with online lessons between visits keeps such a match practical.

When you ask, say which end of the belt you live in, as well as your sector. It changes which tutors we put first.

The 19 sectors of the zone, one line each

  • Sector 92: Noida Authority plots in pockets such as Block A and Block B, with houses and builder floors.
  • Sector 93: apartment societies, authority flats and plots, with Gejha village shops at the edge.
  • Sector 93A: a compact tower pocket beside the expressway that includes Supertech Emerald Court and ATS Village.
  • Sector 93B: Omaxe societies on Gejha Road, next to the Biodiversity Park.
  • Sector 99: a quiet plotted sector of two blocks, close to Sectors 45 and 46.
  • Sector 100: gated high-rises with larger flats, near Noida Sector 101 station.
  • Sector 104: towers, floors, houses, offices and Hajipur village in one sector.
  • Sector 105: low-rise kothis and builder floors laid out around parks.
  • Sector 107: gated high-rise societies with flats up to five bedrooms, near Dadri Road.
  • Sector 108: four plotted blocks, A to D, with plenty of green space.
  • Sector 110: a residential and commercial mix of society flats, villas and markets.
  • Sector 128: township-style campuses with towers and some golf-facing villas.
  • Sector 134: apartment societies, some ready and some still being completed.
  • Sector 137: established societies around its own Aqua Line station.
  • Sector 143: newer societies served by the Sector 142 and Sector 143 stations.
  • Sector 144: mostly completed societies beside large office campuses and its own station.
  • Sector 150: a green, sports-themed sector reached from Sector 148 station.
  • Sector 151: a large completed complex plus newer towers toward Greater Noida.
  • Sector 168: high-rises from studios to four-bedroom flats near business parks.

Gates, doorbells and safety along the belt

In a tower society. Most homes in the zone sit behind a guarded gate. Before the demo, log the tutor in advance on whatever gate app your society runs, or leave their name, mobile, tower and flat with the guard desk. Townships in Sector 128 and the very large complex in Sector 151 can have more than one entry, so name the right gate.

In a plotted sector. In Sectors 92, 99, 105 and 108 there is usually no guard to pass, but houses on similar-looking blocks are easy to miss. Share a map pin, block letter and house number, and say where a scooter can stand.

Where the class sits. A dining table or desk away from the television works well, with an adult at home for the first few classes. Club rooms are possible only if your society allows them.

Woman tutors. If you would prefer a woman tutor, for a late slot on a quiet road or for any reason, say so when you ask; see woman home tutors in Noida.

ID check. Each tutor who joins goes through an ID check by our team; read how we check tutors. The check covers identity only; it is not a police or background check, so sit in on the demo and watch how the first weeks go.

Boards families on the expressway ask about

Requests from this belt are mostly CBSE, with a real share of ICSE/ISC and, more than in older Noida, IB and Cambridge IGCSE. UP Board families ask too, often for Hindi-medium help. The board decides the tutor, so name it first.

  • CBSE. Work from NCERT and the sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in. From 2026 CBSE runs two Class 10 board examinations a year, the second optional for improvement. See CBSE home tutors in Noida.
  • ICSE and ISC. CISCE sets the syllabus and prescribed texts; share your child's set-book list at the demo.
  • IB and IGCSE. Specialists are fewer and may live far from the belt, so online or hybrid classes are common; see IB tutors in Noida.

For how the boards differ, read our guide to CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.

Home tuition by class band on the belt

Nursery to Class 5

Young children need someone close. In the plotted sectors that may be a tutor from the next block; in the towers, someone already teaching in a neighbouring society. Short sessions, several days a week, built around reading, number work and a homework habit, suit this age. More on primary tutors in Noida.

Classes 6 to 8

By middle school, maths and science usually call for someone who teaches those subjects properly. Two or three classes a week is a common pattern. Ask whether the tutor follows your board's textbooks or brings their own worksheets.

Classes 9 and 10

Board preparation means past papers and timed writing. In a tower, the gate and lift eat into the hour, so a 75- or 90-minute class often gives more real teaching time than a 60-minute one. A maths home tutor is usually the first hire.

Classes 11 and 12

Senior science, maths and commerce subjects each want a specialist, who may well live in another part of Noida. Families here often start online and add a home class once a tutor who can travel is found. If JEE or NEET is in the plan, say so: NTA conducts both, and the plan must cover school and entrance work.

Exam season along the expressway

Most school board papers fall in February and March, CBSE's second Class 10 sitting comes later in the year, IB has May and November sessions, and Cambridge runs March, June and November series in India. Take dates only from the boards' own sites. Evening slots get harder to find as papers approach, so book revision weeks with your tutor well ahead and keep an online fallback for evenings when the expressway crawls.

Home, online or a coaching centre?

  • Coaching centre. A batch and a fixed timetable. From most of this zone it means a drive or auto ride at the same busy hours a tutor would face, so the commute moves to your child.
  • Home tutor. One teacher at your table, pace set by your child. Easiest when the tutor lives a few sectors away on inner roads.
  • Online tutor. No traffic at all, and a much wider pool for IB, IGCSE, ISC or entrance work; see online tutors for Noida students.

Many expressway households end up with a split: someone from the next few sectors comes home for the core subjects, while one senior paper, or a rain-hit or exam-heavy week, goes online.

What home tuition costs on the belt

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.

Tutors on NXTutors price their own time, and every fee is visible before you book a demo. On this belt, the things that move a fee are the class and board, how specialised the subject is, the length and number of sessions, and how far the tutor travels. A tutor already teaching in your cluster of sectors usually has less travel to cover than one coming the length of the expressway. Hybrid plans, with some classes online, can also change the total.

Quiet places near home

We could not find a public library inside the zone to point to. Green space is easier: the Biodiversity Park in Sector 91 sits next to Sector 93B, and Sector 108 and Sector 150 are known for their parks and open land. These suit a walk between revision sessions rather than study itself; for focused work, most families here use a quiet room at home or a society reading room where one exists.

Zones next to the Noida Expressway belt

  • Sectors 70–82: the tower cluster around Noida Sector 76 station, with Sector 82 right beside Sectors 93 and 110.
  • Central Noida: plotted sectors around Noida City Centre, a short hop from Sectors 99 and 100.
  • Sector 62 belt: offices and group housing along NH-9, on the Blue Line.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers

How AI matching finds a tutor for Noida Expressway

You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Noida Expressway you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.

  1. 1. It reads your requestClass, board (CBSE, ICSE, UP Board, IB or IGCSE), subject and the time slots that suit you.
  2. 2. It ranks by fit and distanceSubject and board first, then tutors who list Noida Expressway among the areas they travel to, then Noida.
  3. 3. It offers online where it fitsIf home tutors for your subject are thin near Noida Expressway, it says so and suggests online tutors instead of stretching the distance.
  4. 4. You meet the tutorThe first class is a free demo at home or online. You decide after it, not the algorithm.

Where AI stops and people start

  • Tutors who join go through an ID check by our team (how we check tutors). Sample profiles are marked as samples.
  • Teachers set the plan and have the final say on how your child learns.
  • The AI can make mistakes, and we say so: check important answers with the teacher.

Home tuition in Noida Expressway

Near its start, Sectors 92, 99, 105 and 108 are plotted sectors of independent houses on authority plots, and Sector 104 mixes towers, floors, offices and Hajipur village. Sectors 93, 93A, 93B, 100 and 107 are mostly gated societies, Sector 110 mixes them with houses and villas, and Sector 128 has township-style campuses. Further out, Sectors 134, 137, 143, 144, 150, 151 and 168 are almost entirely high-rise, with business parks in between, and some towers in Sectors 134 and 151 are still being completed.

The expressway is the obvious route and the worst one at peak hours, crawling both ways once offices close. A tutor from the next sector who can stay on inner roads usually beats one who has to join it. The Aqua Line runs along much of the corridor, with stations at Noida Sector 83, NSEZ and Sector 101 near the start, then Sector 137 and a run of stops from Sector 142 to Sector 148, so a tutor can also ride in. In Sectors 128 and 134 no station is within an easy walk, and inside Sector 150 public transport is still limited.

On NXTutors, tutors for the expressway belt are listed with those living in these sectors first, then tutors who travel to them, then the rest of Noida, then online tutors for specialist boards. Tell us your sector, society and tower, the class, board and subject, and whether a hybrid plan with one home visit a week would suit you. We send two or three matched tutors and show each fee before the demo. The first class is free, at home or online, and if a better-placed tutor turns up later in the year, switching is free.

Why one-to-one home tuition costs more than group coaching

In a coaching batch, one teacher's hour is shared by many students, so each family pays for a part of it. At home the whole hour is your child's: the pace, the questions and the homework check follow one student, and the tutor's travel to your home is part of the working day. A small group of two or three children from the same society usually costs less per child, with less individual attention.

Before the first class in Noida Expressway

  • Ask for tutors in neighbouring sectors first; a tutor who has to drive along the expressway at peak hour will struggle to arrive on time.
  • For specialist subjects, a hybrid plan with one home session a week and online classes in between makes a tutor from further away practical.
  • Large societies can take several minutes from gate to tower: pre-approve the visit and build that into the start time.

Home tuition in Noida Expressway: common questions

How do I get a home tutor on the Noida Expressway?

Send your sector, society or block, class, board and subject, and NXTutors matches two or three tutors who can reach your part of the Noida Expressway. Each tutor's fee is on the shortlist before you book. You pay nothing for the first class, a demo held at home or on a video call, and nothing for switching tutor later.

What does home tuition cost in Noida Expressway sectors?

Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, shown before the demo, and travel distance along the belt is one of the things that moves it.

Which sectors count as the Noida Expressway zone on NXTutors?

The Noida Expressway zone covers Sectors 92, 93, 93A, 93B, 99, 100, 104, 105, 107, 108, 110, 128, 134, 137, 143, 144, 150, 151 and 168. Sectors 115 to 122 sit in a separate zone toward Greater Noida West, and each member sector has its own page.

Which metro stations help tutors reach expressway societies?

Aqua Line stations along the Noida Expressway are Noida Sector 101, Sector 81, NSEZ, Sector 83, Sector 137 and Sectors 142 to 148. A tutor near any of them can ride in and cover the last stretch by auto or on foot, which avoids the evening jam on the road.

Can I ask for a woman tutor in an expressway society?

Yes, you can ask for a woman tutor anywhere on the Noida Expressway belt when you send your request. Mention preferred days and times, especially for a later slot on a quiet inner road, and we put women tutors who can travel to your sector first.

Is it better to choose a tutor from my own end of the expressway?

Usually yes: a tutor from your own end of the Noida Expressway arrives on time far more often than one driving its length at peak. Sectors 92 to 110 sit close together, as do 137 to 168, so ask for tutors from your cluster first and keep long-distance specialists for weekends or online.

Should my child join coaching or take a home tutor on the expressway?

For most Noida Expressway families a home or online tutor saves the daily commute a coaching batch would need at rush hour. Coaching suits a self-driven student who likes a group. A home tutor follows your child's pace, and online classes widen the choice for senior or international-board subjects.

Are IB and IGCSE tutors available along the Noida Expressway?

Yes, IB and Cambridge IGCSE tutors can be matched for Noida Expressway families, though specialists are fewer and may live outside the belt. Many families combine one home class a week with online sessions, and the free demo lets you test a specialist before committing.

Do plotted sectors like 92 and 108 make home tuition easier?

Plotted Noida Expressway sectors such as 92, 99, 105 and 108 usually mean no society gate, so a tutor walks straight to your door. The trade-off is finding the house: share a map pin, block letter and house number before the first class.

Is Sector 150 or 151 too far for a home tutor?

No, Sector 150 and Sector 151 are reachable, though they sit at the far end of the Noida Expressway. Start with tutors already teaching in nearby sectors such as 143, 144 or 168. For a specialist from farther away, online classes with an occasional home visit keep the routine steady.

When should we book a tutor before board exams on the expressway?

Book board revision on the Noida Expressway well before exams, because evening slots get harder to find as papers approach. Take exam dates only from the board's own website, plan any extra classes with the tutor in advance, and keep an online fallback for slow-traffic evenings.

Can we get a JEE or NEET tutor at home near the expressway?

Yes, JEE and NEET tutors can be matched for homes on the Noida Expressway, often as a hybrid of home and online classes because specialists live across the city. Say whether the plan must cover Class 11–12 board work as well, and see our JEE and NEET pages for more.

Will the new metro line help tutors reach Sector 93 and 108?

Not yet: the Botanical Garden to Sector 142 corridor, with planned stations at Sectors 105, 108 and 93, has approval but is not built. Until it opens, tutors reaching these Noida Expressway sectors use the Aqua Line at Sector 83 or inner roads.

Which sectors are on the Noida Expressway belt?

Sectors along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway from 92 to 168, including 93, 93A, 93B, 99, 100, 104, 105, 107, 108, 110, 128, 134, 137, 143, 144, 150, 151 and 168. Sectors 115 to 122, towards Greater Noida West, form the separate Near Noida Extension zone.

Are the plotted sectors on the expressway different for tuition?

Yes. In Sectors 92, 99, 105 and 108 most families live in independent houses, so a tutor comes straight to the door with no society gate, visitor app or lift. Tutors from neighbouring sectors can reach them on sector roads without joining the expressway, which keeps evening classes on time.

Sectors 150 and 151 feel far out. Can we still get a home tutor?

Yes, but look close to home first. Public transport inside Sector 150 is still limited and Sector 151 is well away from older Noida, so a tutor already teaching in Sectors 149, 150, 152 or nearby expressway sectors is the practical choice. For specialist subjects, online classes with an occasional home visit fill the gap.

How do we compare tutors' fees on NXTutors?

Tutors set their own hourly fee, and each matched tutor's fee is shown before the free demo, so you can weigh price against subject fit and travel. Senior classes and international boards usually cost more than middle-school tuition, and a nearby tutor or a hybrid plan can keep the total down.
