Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

A physics home tutor in Noida earns their fee in Class 11 and 12 by doing what a coaching batch or a school class cannot: finding the exact step where a student's physics breaks, whether that is a free-body diagram, a sign convention or the algebra, and fixing it before the next chapter builds on it. The tutor also has to know the student's goal (the board paper, JEE or NEET) and reach your sector late in the evening, after school and often after coaching. NXTutors shortlists two or three physics tutors on those terms, and the first class is a free demo.
Class 10 physics is mostly light and electricity with short numericals. Class 11 opens with units and measurement and then moves straight into motion in a plane, laws of motion, work and energy, rotational motion and gravitation. These chapters need vectors, graphs and a first taste of calculus, often before the maths class has taught them. A student who coasted through Class 10 can find the first unit test a shock.
The sensible response is early, targeted help rather than more hours. A good Class 11 tutor spends the first few weeks on tools: resolving vectors consistently, reading and sketching graphs, and treating differentiation as a rate of change. After that, mechanics makes sense, and so does Class 12 electrostatics, which reuses the same ideas of force, field and energy. Our Class 11 physics tutor page goes chapter by chapter, and the main physics home tutor page covers physics tuition beyond Noida.
The physics is largely shared; the exams reward different things. The table sets out the 2026 patterns as the official bulletins and CBSE's 2026-27 documents describe them. Patterns are confirmed afresh each year, so check the current bulletin before planning around any detail.
| Goal | Exam shape | What tuition should do |
|---|---|---|
| CBSE Class 12 board | 70-mark theory paper (3 hours, 33 compulsory questions in five sections, no calculators) plus 30 marks of practical work | Derivations, clean numericals, ray and circuit diagrams, case-based and assertion–reason questions, practical file and viva |
| JEE Main | 2026 Paper 1: 25 physics questions (20 multiple-choice, 5 numerical-value) in a 75-question, 300-mark, three-hour computer-based test; +4 and −1 | Multi-step problem-solving at speed; analysis of coaching tests; chapter-by-chapter repair |
| JEE Advanced | Two compulsory papers on the same day; in 2026, open to the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main | Deeper, multi-concept problems and past Advanced papers |
| NEET (UG) | 2026: 45 of 180 multiple-choice questions, 180 of 720 marks, pen and paper, 180 minutes; +4 and −1 | Accuracy on NCERT-level concepts and numericals; cutting guesses that cost negative marks |
Many NEET students are comfortable in biology but find physics the hardest section to score in, and with negative marking an uncertain guess costs marks. Our high-yield NEET physics guide helps prioritise, and our JEE physics topic-wise guide maps the entrance syllabus.
The board paper is 70 marks and the practical examination 30. The theory syllabus covers nine units in 14 NCERT chapters. Electricity and magnetism together carry 33 marks, optics with electromagnetic waves 18, modern physics 12 and semiconductors 7. Calculators are not allowed; the paper gives values of physical constants. CBSE's 2026-27 sample paper states there is no change in question paper design, and much of the paper asks students to apply physics to unfamiliar situations rather than recall it.
The 30 practical marks are the most controllable in the subject: two experiments (7 marks each), the practical record, an activity, a project and a viva. The record must include at least eight experiments and six activities. A tutor cannot run a metre bridge at your dining table and should not try, but a couple of sessions on each experiment's aim, circuit or ray diagram, precautions and sources of error before the practical exam are time well spent. Class 12 has one main board exam; the two-exam system applies to Class 10. See our CBSE Class 12 physics strategies for the chapter-by-chapter detail.
Most senior-school students in Noida sit CBSE, and a smaller number sit ISC or an international programme. The same tutor rarely suits all of them:
Tell us the exact course and level, not only the school, and we match on that. For these courses a tutor online is often the practical answer if no specialist can reach your sector.
Senior physics sessions are usually late: after school, often after coaching. At that hour the question is less "how far?" than "on which line, through which junction?" Noida has two metro lines and a few well-known choke points, and they shape which tutors can realistically reach you. Open your sector on our Noida page to see the tutors nearest to it.
The Blue Line runs through Old Noida (stations at Sectors 15, 16 and 18), Central Noida (Noida City Centre, Sector 34, Sector 52) and on to Sectors 61, 59 and 62 and Noida Electronic City. Homes in Sector 19, near the Sector 16 station, or Sector 52, which has its own station, can draw on tutors who travel by metro. By road, the stretch from the Mahamaya Flyover to the DND exit, and above all the Film City Flyover, backs up morning and evening.
The Aqua Line starts at Sector 51, linked by walkway to Sector 52 on the Blue Line, and runs via Sector 50, 76 and 101 to the expressway sectors, with stations such as Sector 137 and Sectors 142 to 148. Families in Sector 143, which has its own station, or Sector 82, near NSEZ station, can often get a tutor who rides the line and covers the last stretch by auto. Evening traffic on the expressway itself is heavy in both directions.
Some sectors have no station inside them. Sector 70 sits between Sector 61 on the Blue Line and Sector 51 on the Aqua Line, so metro-riding tutors finish by auto; Vikas Marg is the slow road at office hours. In Sector 119 and the sectors close to Noida Extension there is no metro yet, so a tutor who already teaches in the cluster, or an online session, is usually the answer for a late slot.
A physics home tutor is not a second coaching class. For a student already in a batch, one or two sessions a week usually work like this:
For a student without coaching, the tutor sets the syllabus plan too, and timed mock tests have to be arranged separately. Review the plan every month using test results.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fees. For physics, the level (board, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET), the tutor's experience with that level, the travel involved at a late slot and the number of sessions a week move the figure. Online sessions with the same tutor can cost less. You see each shortlisted tutor's fee before the demo.
If the demo misses on several of these, tell us and we set up the next tutor. Switching is free.
Send us the class, the exact physics course, the goal, your sector or society and the slots that work around school and coaching. Tutors who join go through an ID check; we send two or three matched physics tutors with their fees, and you pick one for a free demo class. Where a specialist cannot reach your sector late in the evening, we suggest online or hybrid sessions; NXTutors offers online tutoring across India and is based in Sector 66, Gurugram.
Physics teachers who want students in Noida can see open requests on the Noida tuition jobs page.

A Class 11 student in Noida should ideally start with a physics tutor in the first month, before mechanics piles up. Motion in a plane, laws of motion and rotational motion arrive quickly and lean on vectors, graphs and early calculus. A tutor who secures those tools early makes the rest of Class 11, and Class 12 electrostatics, much easier.
Yes, a physics home tutor in Noida can work alongside JEE or NEET coaching by clearing the doubts your child brings from the batch. The tutor sorts each test's mistakes by type, repairs the chapter that loses most marks, and keeps derivations, diagrams and the practical file in shape for the board exam. One or two focused sessions a week is common.
Physics was 45 of the 180 NEET (UG) 2026 questions for Noida aspirants, worth 180 of the 720 marks. A correct answer earned +4 and a wrong one cost −1. With negative marking, accuracy on NCERT-level physics matters as much as coverage. The pattern is confirmed each year, so check the current NTA bulletin.
No, Noida students may not use calculators in the CBSE Class 12 physics theory paper, which is 70 marks over three hours. The paper gives the values of physical constants. The remaining 30 marks come from the practical exam: two experiments, the practical record, an activity, a project and a viva.
A physics tutor can often reach a late-evening slot in your Noida sector if they live on your side of the city or on your metro line. The Blue Line serves Old Noida, Central Noida and the Sector 62 belt, while the Aqua Line runs from Sector 51 through the 70s to the expressway. Otherwise, online sessions keep the plan going.
Yes, ISC, IB and IGCSE physics students in Noida are matched by exact course: ISC, IB Physics SL or HL, or IGCSE Physics Core or Extended. These specialists are fewer than CBSE physics tutors, so tell us early. For the IB, a tutor may guide the internal investigation but never write it, and online sessions widen the choice.
For Noida students, electricity and magnetism together carry 33 of the 70 CBSE Class 12 physics theory marks, the largest share. Optics with electromagnetic waves carries 18, modern physics 12 and semiconductors 7. Much of the paper asks students to apply physics to unfamiliar situations, so practise case-based and assertion-reason questions, not just derivations.
To choose a physics tutor from a demo in Noida, hand over your child's own coaching or school sheet and listen to how the tutor reasons aloud. A good tutor insists on a free-body or ray diagram before any equation, keeps units at every step and uses one sign convention. Ask how they would split the year between board and entrance practice.
