Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 82 belongs to the Sectors 70–82 zone of Noida, but it is unlike the tower sectors of that zone. It is laid out in numbered pockets of low- and mid-rise housing, much of it built by the Noida Authority and by government-employee housing bodies, and it sits on Dadri Main Road beside the Noida Special Economic Zone. This guide covers what that means for a tutor's visit.
| What | Sector 82 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Sectors 70–82; Sector 82 is the pocket-housing sector on Dadri Main Road, set apart from the tower belt of Sectors 74–79 |
| Housing | Numbered pockets of low- to mid-rise flats, from EWS and Janta flats to HIG duplexes, plus cooperative and government-employee societies, builder floors and some independent houses |
| Nearest metro | NSEZ on the Aqua Line, about 1.2 km away by a property-portal estimate; Noida Sector 83 on the same line is about 2.2 km away |
| Main roads | Dadri Main Road, the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, Gejha Road and the Sector 93 road |
| Where tutors usually come from | Neighbouring sectors such as 93, 104, 105, 108 and 110, the Aqua Line corridor, and online for specialist subjects |
| Boards families ask about | Families here commonly ask about CBSE, with questions on ICSE/ISC and UP Board, and some on IB and Cambridge IGCSE |
| Good session windows | Late afternoon before the evening rush at the expressway crossings, later evening once it eases, and weekend mornings |
Sector 82 is one of Noida's older, planned residential sectors, and it is organised in numbered pockets rather than in builder towers. Property listings refer to addresses such as Pocket 7 and Pocket 12, and the housing runs across the income range: Noida Authority flats in EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG categories, Janta flats, and HIG duplex homes. Square Yards lists the Noida Development Authority as the builder of a dozen projects in the sector. Most buildings are low- or mid-rise, with walk-up blocks and smaller gated societies, and there are builder floors, standalone buildings and some independent houses too.
A large share of the sector was built for government and services employees. Kendriya Vihar II is a Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation (CGEWHO) complex in Sector 82, and it has its own community centre block; a CGHS wellness centre is listed at Community Center I, Kendriya Vihar II. Vivek Vihar is listed by property portals as an Army Welfare Housing Organisation society. Other names that come up in listings are Swarnim Vihar, Udyog Vihar Apartments, Madhuban Apartments, Ekta Kunj and Green View Apartments. Listings disagree on unit counts and sizes, so none are given here.
The main work hub is right next door. The Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), set up in 1985 in Noida Phase II on about 310 acres, is the only Central Government SEZ in northern India and houses export manufacturing, services and warehousing units. Property portals also list the IT and business parks along the expressway as nearby employers. So many households here fit study time around office and factory shifts, and long-time residents and tenants live side by side, since the sector has steady rental demand.
For tuition, the housing type matters. In a walk-up pocket flat, the tutor rings the doorbell or meets a single guard at the block gate; in the larger government-employee complexes there is a proper security desk. Rooms are compact in the EWS and LIG flats, so the dining table is often the study table, while a duplex or HIG flat usually has a spare corner.
Resident reviews of Sector 82 on property portals keep returning to the same handful of points. Here they are, each with what it means for a tutor's weekly visit.
These sit alongside the usual parent questions: whether the tutor can hold the same slot every week, whether they know your child's board, and whether a senior subject is better taught at home or online. The rest of this guide answers them for Sector 82.
By metro. The nearest station is NSEZ on the Aqua Line, about 1.2 km away by a property-portal estimate, with Noida Sector 83 about 2.2 km away. NSEZ station, opened in January 2019, sits in Yakubpur between Noida Sector 81 and Noida Sector 83. The Aqua Line runs from Noida Sector 51, where it meets the Blue Line at Noida Sector 52, through Sector 50, Sector 76, Sector 101, Sector 81 and NSEZ, and on towards Greater Noida. A tutor living along that line can ride in and finish by e-rickshaw or on foot.
By road. Dadri Main Road runs along the sector, with the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway close by and Gejha Road and the Sector 93 road linking it to the sectors around. Reviewers name the expressway crossings and the market stretches as the slow points at peak hours, and some mention heavy trucks on nearby roads at night, which comes from the industrial and SEZ traffic around Phase II.
The short rides. Property portals list Sectors 93, 104, 105, 106, 108 and 110 as neighbours, with Sector 83 across the road towards the metro. A tutor already teaching in one of these can reach a Sector 82 pocket on sector roads without joining the expressway at rush hour, so they are the easiest to match for a regular weekday slot. Tutors from the tower sectors of the zone, such as Sector 76 or 79, can use the Aqua Line instead.
We do not quote travel minutes, because they change too much with the hour. Instead, give the tutor your pocket number, block or society name and a landmark, and ask what time they usually pass the expressway side.
Entry in Sector 82 depends on where you live. The government-employee complexes and the larger cooperative societies have a gate with security, where a resident approves or pre-approves a visitor, by a society app or by a word with the guard. Smaller pocket blocks may have only a block gate or none, and in a builder floor or independent house the tutor comes straight to your door.
Before the free demo, send the tutor four things: the pocket number or society name, the block and flat number, the gate to use, and a landmark. Pocket addresses can confuse map apps, and a market, temple or park nearby helps a first-time visitor. If there is a guard, give the tutor's name and phone number in advance, and after the demo ask how to make the approval standing for the weekly slot.
Lessons in Sector 82 mostly happen at home. Some complexes have a community centre or common room, but its use for private lessons is up to the society, so ask the office before you plan around it. For younger children, keep the door open and an adult at home.
If you prefer a woman tutor, mention it in the request and we will try to find a female home tutor in Noida free for that class and subject. As part of joining, NXTutors tutors confirm their phone or email by one-time code and submit a government photo ID that our team reviews. It is an identity check, not a police or background check; read how we check tutors, and judge the teaching for yourself at the demo.
In Sector 82's pocket flats and government-employee complexes, CBSE is the most common request, with ICSE/ISC and UP Board questions and a few for IB or Cambridge IGCSE. Two local points shape the plan: compact EWS and LIG flats where the dining table doubles as the study table, and households working NSEZ or office shifts.
For how the boards differ in syllabus and assessment, see our comparison of CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
Young children do well with short, regular sessions of 45 minutes to an hour, a few days a week. In a compact pocket flat, set one corner aside with good light and no television in view. An early-evening slot, after school and a snack but before play time in the pocket park, tends to hold. An adult at home throughout is reassuring for the family and the tutor.
Maths and Science get harder here, and a steady weekly routine matters more than long sessions. One tutor for Maths and Science together suits many children, with English or Hindi added where needed. Weekly notebook checks help the tutor follow homework and tests. A maths tutor at home in Noida is the most common first request at this stage.
Board planning starts in Class 9. For CBSE Class 10, plan for the main exam first and keep the May sitting as an option; for ICSE, the wider subject list needs a careful weekly split. In a pocket flat, two or three 90-minute sessions a week give time to teach and then try one timed question. See Class 10 home tuition in Noida for more.
Families usually move to subject specialists for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics. In a household working NSEZ or office shifts, a fixed weekend morning block can be easier to protect than a weekday evening. Where an entrance exam is in view, some families keep a home tutor for board work and add an online teacher for the entrance side.
Sector 82 students mostly write their board papers early in the calendar year, and CBSE's second Class 10 exam follows in May. Every board posts its timetable on its own website, and only those dates count. Reviewers mention occasional summer power cuts, so for May papers keep a charged lamp or a daylight revision slot in mind. Agree early with the tutor which weeks become revision-only and whether any session should move online.
Home tuition suits Sector 82 because the child stays put while the tutor makes the trip, and the quiet pockets make a calm study space. The catch is that the tutor faces the same expressway crossings at rush hour, so the slot must fit their route.
Online classes cut out the travel altogether. They help most on monsoon evenings when internal streets flood, in exam weeks, and when the right specialist lives far away. Online tuition for Noida students is often the practical route for senior IB, IGCSE or entrance subjects.
A coaching centre means your child travels, usually out of the sector by e-rickshaw, bus or a parent's car, at the busiest time of day, and reviewers describe buses here as crowded. Sector 82 families often pair one or two weekly home visits for school subjects with a single online session from a specialist.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor's fee is on the shortlist before the demo.
The usual factors move the fee: class, board, subject, session length and how many sessions a week. Distance also counts here. A tutor based in Sector 93, 105 or 110 has a short ride on sector roads; one crossing the expressway at rush hour from further away may ask for a higher fee or a longer minimum session to make the trip worthwhile.
Multiply hourly fee, session hours and monthly sessions to check any quote. Ask up front how holidays, cancelled sessions and extra pre-exam classes are counted.
Property portals list Sector 82 Park, a yoga park and several landscaped pocket parks, which residents use for walks and children's play; a short walk there makes a good break in a long revision evening. Kendriya Vihar II has a community centre block, but we could not find a public library or open study room in the sector, so most children study at home.

You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 82 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.
