Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, a home tutor can come to your house in Sector 19, or teach your child online if that suits you better. Tell NXTutors the class, board and subject, and whether you live in A, B or C Block. We then suggest two or three matched tutors who travel to Sector 19 from nearby sectors or who teach online. Each tutor's fee is on the shortlist before you book, the first class is a free demo, and switching tutor later costs nothing.
Sector 19 belongs to the Old Noida zone of Noida. It is a plotted sector of houses and low-rise LIG flats a short walk from Noida Sector 16 metro station, so most tutors simply ring the doorbell. This guide covers the blocks, the route in, the right time of day, boards, class stages and fees.
| What | Sector 19 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Old Noida, the first sectors at the Delhi end of the city |
| Blocks | A, B and C Blocks, with pockets inside them |
| Housing | Houses on Noida Authority plots in all three blocks; LIG flats on the ground and first floors in B and C Blocks; very few towers |
| Nearest metro | Noida Sector 16 on the Blue Line, roughly 650 to 700 metres away by portal estimates; Noida Sector 18 and Noida Sector 15 are further out |
| Main roads | Amaltash Marg, Captain Vijayant Thapar Marg, Shaheed Arjun Sardana Marg |
| Landmarks for directions | Head Post Office (B Block), BSNL telephone exchange (C Block), Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Rajnigandha Chowk, Atta Peer crossing |
| Where tutors usually come from | Sectors 17, 20, 27 and 28, riders on the Blue Line, and online teachers for specialist subjects |
| Easier lesson windows | After school and before the evening build-up towards the DND, or weekend mornings |
Sector 19 is one of the residential sectors the Noida Authority allotted in the 1980s, laid out between the DND side and the Atta Peer crossing. It is divided into three blocks. A Block is almost entirely houses on plots. B and C Blocks mix plotted houses with LIG flats built on the ground and first floors. Property portals describe the sector as independent houses and low-rise buildings with very few towers, which is why it feels settled rather than new.
Plots in A Block run from about 112 square metres upwards, so many homes are kothis of two or three storeys. Over time, owners have let out single floors, and listings now range from 1 RK rooms and paying-guest beds to 4 BHK floors. NoBroker reviewers describe steady rental demand, helped by the metro and the shops of Sector 18 next door.
That gives three common kinds of household, and each changes how a lesson works:
Sector 19 also has offices that draw visitors through the day. Noida Business Guide places the Head Post Office in B Block and the main BSNL telephone exchange in C Block, and NoBroker lists the City Magistrate's office and the Zilla Sainik Board here. Sanatan Dharam Mandir, which Noida Business Guide calls one of Noida's oldest temples, is another landmark most locals know. Any of these makes a better first-visit direction than a map pin alone.
Resident reviews of Sector 19 on NoBroker and Square Yards keep coming back to a few themes. Here is what each one means for a weekly lesson.
Beyond the locality, Sector 19 parents ask what parents everywhere ask: will the tutor keep the same slot through the school year, do they know how the school's board marks answers, and is a Class 11 or 12 subject better taught at home or online? The sections that follow take those questions one by one.
Few Noida sectors are as easy to reach by metro. Noida Sector 16 station on the Blue Line stands on Captain Vijayant Thapar Marg, opened in November 2009, and is roughly 650 to 700 metres from Sector 19 according to NoBroker and Square Yards. On the line, its neighbours are Noida Sector 15 towards Delhi and Noida Sector 18 towards Noida City Centre and Electronic City. A tutor who lives anywhere along the Blue Line, including East Delhi, can ride in and walk the last stretch.
NoBroker puts Noida Sector 18 station about 1.4 km away and Noida Sector 15 about 1.7 km away. Sector 18 station sits above Noida's main market, so a tutor getting off there walks through shopping crowds; Sector 16 is the nearer stop and the one to suggest.
By road, Amaltash Marg is the main approach, with Captain Vijayant Thapar Marg and Shaheed Arjun Sardana Marg also serving the sector. Buses stop at Atta Peer, Rajnigandha Chowk, the Telephone Exchange and the Sector 27 DM Office stop, which helps a tutor coming by bus from elsewhere in Noida.
The part to plan is the clock, not the route. In September 2026 the Hindustan Times reported daily morning and evening tailbacks between the Mahamaya Flyover and the DND exit, worst at the Film City Flyover. A tutor driving in from south Noida or from Delhi may meet that build-up, while one on the metro avoids it. A lesson that begins before the evening rush, or once it has eased, is far easier to keep every week.
The shortest trips come from the sectors around Sector 19, such as 17, 20, 27 and 28. For a tutor there, the journey is a few minutes of local road, so even a later evening slot can work.
Most of Sector 19 has no society gate, which makes the first visit simpler than in a tower complex but puts more on the family. The tutor comes straight to your door, so the address must be exact: block, pocket and house number, plus a landmark. "B Block, near the Head Post Office" or "C Block, behind the telephone exchange" gets a newcomer there faster than a pin dropped on a crowded lane.
If you live on an upper floor of a kothi, say which floor and where the staircase starts. Where the landlord lives downstairs, mention that a tutor will be coming on fixed days, so nobody is surprised by a stranger on the stairs.
On safety, keep an adult at home through the lesson, at least for the first few weeks, and seat a young child in a shared room rather than a closed bedroom. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check (see how we check tutors). It is not a police or background check, so ordinary home precautions still apply. If you would like a woman tutor in Noida for your child, say so in the request and we will match on it.
For reference, Noida Business Guide lists a police chowki near Rajnigandha Chowk and places the police station covering the sector in Sector 20.
The boards Sector 19 parents raise with us most are CBSE and ICSE/ISC, with UP Board for some households and an occasional IB or Cambridge request. CBSE conducts the Class 10 and 12 board exams; CISCE conducts ICSE at Class 10 and ISC at Class 12; UPMSP conducts UP Board's High School and Intermediate exams.
What changes for a home tutor here is mostly practical. In a kothi or a floor, the child's own shelf of school books is right there, so ask the tutor to work from the school's textbooks and notebooks rather than a generic guide. For UP Board students, tell the tutor whether your child writes answers in Hindi or English. For the full side-by-side picture, read CBSE vs ICSE vs IB vs IGCSE: which board.
Young children learn reading, handwriting and number sense in short bursts, so two or three shorter visits a week often work better than one long one. A tutor from Sector 17 or 20 can manage that rhythm easily. In a LIG flat, set the table away from the television and keep a pencil box and a reading book ready before the tutor arrives.
These are habit years. A tutor works on maths foundations, early science and clear English writing, and checks the school diary each week. If writing is the weak spot, an English home tutor in Noida can set short weekly compositions that the school's teacher will also see.
Class 9 sets the base for the board year. By Class 10 the tutor should work to the school's test calendar: chapter tests, then pre-boards, then full papers. Share the school's schedule at the demo so the plan matches it. Parents looking for a board-year specialist can start from our Class 10 home tutors in Noida.
Senior classes need subject specialists, often one each for physics, chemistry and maths or for commerce subjects. Because Sector 16 station is so close, a specialist who lives further along the Blue Line can still teach at home. Many families keep one subject at home and take another online. For the hardest subject, a maths home tutor in Noida who knows the board's marking is usually the first booking.
NTA conducts JEE Main and NEET-UG. A home tutor in Sector 19 can cover the board syllabus and clear doubts from entrance practice, so the child does not fall behind in school while preparing.
Board date sheets are published by each board on its own site: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org and upmsp.edu.in. Once your child's school shares its pre-board dates, tell the tutor straight away, so extra sessions can be planned around the tutor's other students.
Winter evenings get dark early. If the tutor walks back to Sector 16 station, move the lesson earlier so the walk is in daylight, and keep it clear of the evening rush towards the DND. In the last weeks, use lesson time for timed past papers at the same table your child will revise at, then go through the marking together.
Home tuition suits younger children and anyone who needs a teacher sitting beside them. It is easy to arrange in Sector 19, because there is no gate pass and the metro is close.
Online tuition suits specialist subjects, monsoon evenings, and teachers based too far away to visit every week. It also helps a tenant family whose flat has no quiet corner in the evening, since a laptop can go wherever is calm.
A coaching centre moves at the pace of a batch and usually means a daily trip, often through the busy roads around the Sector 18 market. It can suit a self-driven teenager who enjoys working in a group, with a home or online tutor for doubts. Many Sector 19 families mix all three across subjects and years.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Each tutor sets their own rate, and NXTutors shows it on your shortlist before the free demo. What moves the figure up or down is the class and board, the subject, how long each lesson runs and how many lessons there are each week, and the tutor's own experience. Travel matters too: a tutor riding the metro from far along the Blue Line may price the trip differently from one who lives in Sector 20. Online lessons remove the trip altogether. Agree the fee, the weekly days and the lesson length before regular classes start.
We found no public library inside Sector 19 in the sources we checked. The nearest listed one is Noida Public Library at Lok Manch in Sector 15, one Blue Line stop beyond Sector 16; check its membership and timings with the library directly before you go. For most children the quiet spot will be at home, so a room at the back of the house, away from evening street noise, is worth setting aside for study.
Each link opens the Noida page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in Sector 19 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.
AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 19 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Sector 19 is one of the eighteen sectors in our Old Noida zone, and its page lists Sector 12, Sector 14, Sector 14A and Sector 15 beside it. Whatever your child needs, from English in a junior class to Accountancy or JEE subjects later on, the request starts with three details: class, board and chapters done.
Tutors who live in Sector 19 or travel to it are shown at the start of the page. After them you find tutors from the rest of Old Noida, then from elsewhere in Noida, then home teaching from a different NCR city, with online lessons to finish. If no one is listed for Sector 19 itself yet, each card still explains why it is there.
For a Biology student, say whether the aim is school marks or NEET as well. For UP Board students, name the year, High School or Intermediate. You will be matched with two or three tutors and can talk to each before choosing one. Before you book, ask how each tutor checks homework, what they do if a class is missed, and how they keep parents informed. Your child's own view after the free demo matters just as much as the tutor's answers, so ask them how it went.
