Yes. Children in Sector 25 can be taught at home by a tutor who comes to your flat, or online. Share the class, board and subject with NXTutors, along with your block letter in Jalvayu Vihar, and we suggest two or three matched tutors who travel to Sector 25 from nearby sectors or teach online. The fee of each tutor is shown before you book, the first lesson is a free demo, and a later change of tutor is free.
Sector 25 belongs to the Old Noida zone of Noida. Unlike the plotted sectors around it, much of it is Jalvayu Vihar, a colony of flats built by the Air Force Naval Housing Board, with its own markets and parks. That means a gate entry for the tutor, a block-and-flat address, and a metro station that is a little further away than in the sectors near Sector 18.

Sector 25 stands out in Old Noida because most of it was built as one planned colony rather than sold as separate plots. NoBroker describes the sector as developed mainly by the Air Force Naval Housing Board, with an organised layout, and listings name the colony as RWA Jalvayu Vihar. The flats are typically 2 and 3 BHK, and the colony was first meant for Air Force and Navy families. Today the residents are a broader mix, including tenants who work in the nearby offices.
Jalvayu Vihar is divided into lettered blocks. Listings mention L Block, K and N Blocks, E Block, M Block, H Block and G Block, and the name Jalvayu Vihar also carries over into part of Sector 21 next door. When you give a tutor your address, the block letter and flat number are what count.
The colony has much of what a family needs inside it. Residents name Jal Vayu Vihar Market for daily shopping, D-Block and E-Block markets, M Block Park for walks, a Durga Pooja ground, a gurudwara and a Shiv Shakti temple. Across the road in Sector 25A, Modi Mall (earlier Spice World and Smart Bharat Mall) stands next to the Noida Cricket Stadium.
Reviewers describe Sector 25 as green and peaceful, with many trees, wide roads and parks where children play, and say the colony market covers everyday needs. For home tuition, a colony of flats means that most lessons happen in a living room or a child's bedroom rather than a separate study, so a fixed quiet corner is worth setting up before the first class.
Property-portal reviews of Sector 25 raise a few recurring points. Each has a plain lesson for planning tuition.
The other questions are the usual ones: will the tutor keep the agreed time, do they know how your child's board marks, and should a senior subject be taught at home or online? The next sections cover them for Sector 25.
Sector 25 has no metro station of its own. Square Yards lists Golf Course station on the Blue Line at about 1.8 km from Jalvayu Vihar, and NoBroker lists Noida Sector 18 at about 2.4 km and Noida Sector 16 at about 2.7 km. Sector 18 and Sector 16 opened in November 2009; Botanical Garden, one stop beyond Sector 18, is the change point from the Magenta Line. From any station, a tutor takes an auto or e-rickshaw to the colony gate.
Buses stop at Sector 25A, Sector 21 and Sector 20, which helps a tutor who comes by bus from elsewhere in Noida. By road, the sector is bounded by Swami Vivekananda Road, Noida Road and Amaltash Marg, with the Noida Bypass Flyover close by.
The shortest trips are from the next-door sectors: Sector 21, which shares the Jalvayu Vihar name, Sector 20, Sector 26 and Sector 30. A tutor from any of these may not need the main roads at all. A tutor from Delhi faces the evening build-up that Hindustan Times reports between the Mahamaya Flyover and the DND exit, so an earlier slot works better for them.
We do not give travel times. Ask each tutor which way they will come, and whether they will drive, ride a two-wheeler or use the metro and an auto.
Jalvayu Vihar is a managed colony, so a tutor will usually be stopped at the gate. Before the free demo, give security the tutor's name, the time and your block and flat number, or add them as a guest if your RWA uses a visitor app. After the demo, ask the RWA office how to register a regular visitor so the tutor is not held up every week.
Send the tutor the block letter, flat number and floor, and the gate that is closest to your block. Mention a landmark inside the colony, such as M Block Park or the Jal Vayu Vihar Market, so they can find their way from the gate. If they drive, tell them where visitor parking is.
Keep lessons in a room within sight of an adult, especially for younger children. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, explained on how NXTutors checks tutors; it is an identity check and not a police check. If you want a woman tutor, ask for one when you send your request. More on this at female home tutors in Noida.
Families in Sector 25 mainly bring CBSE work to a tutor, with ICSE and ISC common too and some UP Board, IB or IGCSE students. Families who have moved here from another city sometimes switch boards, and a tutor who knows both the old and new board helps a child adjust to a new style of answers. For CBSE students, a CBSE home tutor in Noida can work from the board's own sample papers on cbseacademic.nic.in.
In a flat, the tutor usually works at the dining table or a desk in a bedroom, so keep the school books, notebooks and test papers in one bag that comes out for each lesson. For the full comparison, read our board comparison guide.
Young children in a colony of flats often have many friends close by, which makes a fixed study hour more important. A short lesson right after school, before the evening play time in the park, tends to work. A primary home tutor can build reading, writing, number sense and homework habits in thirty to forty-five minutes.
In middle school, new subjects arrive quickly and some children fall behind in one of them without anyone noticing. A tutor who checks the school notebook each week and tests the past chapter briefly can spot this early.
The board years call for steady practice: one or two chapters at a time, then mixed questions, then papers under time. Ask the tutor at the demo how they plan the year and when they will begin full-length practice.
Senior students need a specialist for each subject. In science streams, physics often needs the most help with numericals; a physics home tutor can work on concepts and problem-solving together. In commerce, accountancy and economics usually have separate tutors.
For JEE Main and NEET, which NTA conducts, a home tutor is most useful alongside a coaching course or a structured online programme. Tell the tutor your child's timetable and weakest chapters, so the lessons fill gaps rather than repeat.
Check exam dates only on each board's website: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, upmsp.edu.in, ibo.org and cambridgeinternational.org. In the last weeks, ask the tutor to switch to past papers and marking. Because the trip in from the metro involves an auto, moving one lesson a week online during exams saves the tutor's travel time and keeps the full hour for your child.
Home tuition suits Sector 25 well for school subjects: your child stays inside the colony, and you see how the tutor works. The only extra step is the gate entry.
Online lessons are handy because the metro is a little far. For specialist subjects, international boards and revision weeks, an online tutor means no auto ride for anyone.
A coaching centre needs your child to travel across busy roads in the evening. Many families keep the centre for entrance preparation and add a home or online tutor for board subjects and doubts.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor names their own fee, which you see on the shortlist before the demo.
The class, board and subject set most of the fee, along with how long each lesson is and how many you book each week. For Sector 25, a tutor who comes from Sector 20, 21 or 26 has a short trip; one who comes by metro and then an auto, or drives in the rush, may prefer longer lessons or ask a little more.
Ask how missed lessons, holidays and extra exam classes are counted, and work out the monthly total before you start.
We found no public library or community reading room listed in Sector 25. M Block Park and the other colony parks are good for a break between study sessions. For most children, a desk in a quiet room at home is the study space.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 25 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Among the twenty pages we keep for Old Noida, Sector 25 has a listing of its own. Whether your child needs patient help with early reading or a firmer grip on Class 12 Physics and Accountancy, a request works the same way: you describe the class and syllabus, and we come back with a short list of people who suit them.
Whoever lives in Sector 25, or has added it to the areas they will travel to, appears at the start. After them you will find tutors based in or covering other Old Noida pages such as Sector 21 and Sector 17, then the wider Noida list, then home tutors from Greater Noida or Faridabad, with online tutors at the end. Every card carries a short reason for being there.
If your child follows IGCSE, mention it in your very first message, so that we can look for tutors who already teach that course rather than only Class 10 board papers. Before booking, ask how the first month would run, how homework will be checked and how you will hear about progress. Clear answers here usually mean clear teaching later.
