Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 33 is the last sector of the Old Noida zone of Noida before Central Noida begins, and it looks towards the Noida City Centre side rather than Sector 18. It mixes apartment societies such as Rail Vihar and NTPC Township with A, B and C Blocks of houses, and it is home to the ISKCON temple, with Noida Haat in Sector 33A next door. Its nearest metro is Noida Sector 34 on the Blue Line.
| Point | Sector 33 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Old Noida, at its border with Central Noida; neighbours include Sectors 23, 33A, 34, 35 and 53 |
| Housing | Apartment societies (NDA Rail Vihar, NTPC Township), A, B and C Blocks, and independent houses |
| Landmarks | ISKCON temple (A-5, Sector 33), Arya Samaj Mandir, the NTPC office, B Block Market, Sector 33 Community Centre |
| Next door | Noida Haat in Sector 33A; Gijhore village on the edge |
| Metro | Noida Sector 34 (Blue Line), about 2 km; Noida Sector 52 (Blue Line), about 3 km; Noida Sector 51 (Aqua Line), about 3.1 km |
| Roads | Maharaja Agrasen Marg, Main Road Gijhor, Vikas Marg, Tulsi Marg, Shivalik Marg and Dadri Road |
| Boards asked about | CBSE first, then ICSE/ISC, with some IB, IGCSE and UP Board |
| Easier lesson times | Outside the peak hours at the Dadri Road crossings |
Sector 33 is smaller and quieter than the market sectors further west. NoBroker describes gated blocks and quiet residential lanes with active RWAs and gated entries, and lists A, B and C Blocks as its parts. Independent houses and standalone buildings sit along the lanes, often given addresses by the Arya Samaj Mandir or the Rail Vihar service lane.
Two named societies come up on the property portals.
The sector's landmarks are spread out. ISKCON's Noida temple gives its address as A-5, Sector 33, opposite the NTPC office. NoBroker also lists St Mary's Catholic Church, a Sector 33 park and a community centre. Across the boundary, Noida Haat in Sector 33A is a large craft market that hosts fairs such as the Ministry of Rural Development's Saras Aajeevika Mela. On the northern edge, OpenStreetMap shows Gijhore, an older village area, with Main Road Gijhor running through.
For tuition, the society flats and the block houses need slightly different planning. A flat in Rail Vihar or NTPC Township usually means a gate entry and a lesson at the dining table or in a bedroom. A block house tends to have more space and no guard, but a lane that a new tutor needs good directions to find.
NoBroker reviews of Sector 33 are short but specific. Here is how each point affects lesson plans.
Then come the questions every parent asks: can the tutor keep one slot all year, do they know the school's board, and is a senior subject better at home or online? The rest of this page answers them for Sector 33.
Sector 33 turns towards Central Noida for its metro. NoBroker puts Noida Sector 34 station about 2 km away, Noida Sector 52 about 3 km away, and Noida Sector 51 on the Aqua Line about 3.1 km away. Noida Sector 34 is a Blue Line station on Captain Shashi Kant Marg in Block C of Sector 34, opened in March 2019, between Noida City Centre and Noida Sector 52.
That gives a tutor two lines to use. A Blue Line tutor from Delhi or the older Noida sectors rides to Sector 34 and takes an auto or e-rickshaw for the last part. An Aqua Line tutor from the Greater Noida side can come to Sector 51, walk across to Sector 52, and either ride one stop west or take an auto. Bus stops at the Sector 23 Chowk, Sector 33 and Sector 34 add another option.
By road, OpenStreetMap shows Maharaja Agrasen Marg and Main Road Gijhor along the sector, and NoBroker names Vikas Marg, Tulsi Marg, Shivalik Marg and Dadri Road. The busy point, according to reviewers, is the Dadri Road crossings at peak hours. A tutor driving in should know which entrance to your society or which lane of your block is quickest from their side.
The shortest trips are from tutors in the sectors that touch Sector 33: OpenStreetMap shows Sectors 23, 33A, 34, 35 and 53 on its edges. A tutor who already teaches in Sector 34 or 35 can often add a Sector 33 lesson to the same evening. In your request, mention your society or block and whether Sector 34 station is convenient.
In NDA Rail Vihar or NTPC Township, plan for a gate. Give security the tutor's name, phone number and lesson days before the demo, and ask how a regular visitor is registered so that later visits go through quickly. Send the tutor the society name, the gate to use, the building or tower and the flat number.
In the A, B or C Blocks, the tutor comes to your door, so directions do the work: block letter, house number, a map pin and a nearby marker, such as the ISKCON temple, the Arya Samaj Mandir, the B Block Market or the NTPC office. If a side road is dark in winter, meet the tutor at the main road for the first visit.
Keep an adult in the home during lessons and the study room door open, especially with younger children. To ask for a woman tutor, add it to your request; we shortlist women tutors for Noida homes where one fits the class, subject and timing.
New tutors on NXTutors complete an ID check. A one-time code confirms their phone or email, and our team reviews the government photo ID they send. It tells you who the person is, and does not replace a police or background check. Find out more about the tutor ID process, and use the free demo to see the teaching first-hand.
Most Sector 33 requests are for CBSE, with ICSE and ISC next, and some for IB, Cambridge IGCSE or UP Board. What changes for a tutor here is the setting rather than the board: a society flat and a block house call for different lesson set-ups.
Whatever the board, give the tutor the school's syllabus or scheme of work in the first week. For CISCE students, add the prescribed-text list; for UP Board, say whether answers are written in Hindi or English.
For the full picture of how the boards compare, see which board suits your child. For international boards, our IGCSE tutors in Noida page has more.
Young children cope well with short, frequent sessions at a fixed time. In a society flat, a slot when younger siblings are asleep or out keeps the room calm. Keep the school diary at the study table, so the tutor sees what the class did that week.
These years build the habits that board classes depend on. A single tutor for Maths and Science is the usual request, with English added if the school asks. A tutor who sets a few practice questions between lessons helps the work stay fresh.
Board preparation starts in Class 9. Two or three lessons a week of 75 to 90 minutes leave time for teaching, practice and a timed question. For CBSE Class 10, the main exam is the target, with the board's optional later sitting there to improve a score. Our English home tuition in Noida page covers the language papers, which many families add at this stage.
Seniors generally need one tutor per subject. Being on the Central Noida side helps: subject tutors who already teach around Sectors 34, 35 and 53 can reach Sector 33 easily. For Chemistry in particular, see our Chemistry home tutors in Noida page.
For JEE, NEET, IB or IGCSE, a common plan pairs a nearby home tutor for school subjects with an online specialist for the hardest paper.
Most board exams for students here are held late in the school year. CBSE, CISCE and UP Board post their timetables on their own websites, IB Diploma papers are set in May and November, and Cambridge IGCSE runs March, June and November series. Use only those sites for dates. If Noida Haat next door is hosting a large fair in exam weeks, expect more traffic nearby and move longer revision sessions online or to mornings.
A home tutor saves your child the trip and lets you watch progress closely. In Sector 33, tutors working across Central Noida are close at hand, which widens the choice for home lessons.
Online lessons skip traffic at the crossings and suit exam weeks, rainy evenings and specialist subjects. For IB, IGCSE or entrance preparation, look at online tuition for Noida.
A coaching centre suits a child who likes a batch and a set timetable. Before choosing one, check how your child will get home after a late class across the busy crossings. Plenty of families combine both, with a home tutor for school subjects and one centre or online class.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor sets their own fee, and it is on your shortlist before the demo.
Fees move with the class and board, the subject, the lesson length and the number of lessons a week. Travel also counts: a tutor from Sector 34, 35 or 53 has a short trip, while one coming by metro and auto from further along the Blue or Aqua Line may prefer longer lessons.
Ask at the start how holidays, cancellations and extra classes before exams are charged, so the month's bill matches your plan.
We did not find a public library run by the Noida Authority in Sector 33. NoBroker lists a Sector 33 Community Centre and a park, and NTPC Township lists a community hall; whether a student may use any of them for quiet study depends on the managing body, so ask first. Most Sector 33 students will still do their real desk work in a quiet room at home.
Sector 33A, with Noida Haat, lies between these and has no area page of its own. For the sectors on the City Centre side, see the Central Noida zone.
Each link opens the Noida page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in Sector 33 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.
AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 33 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Sector 33 completes the list of twenty pages we keep for Old Noida, a zone whose sectors start at Sector 11 on our list. The pages are there to help you see who could teach your child here, whether that is primary English, middle-school Science or Class 12 Physics, at home or online.
A good request is short and specific. Name the class and board, mention the school books and the chapters already covered, and say how your child prefers to learn: some like worked examples first, others want to attempt a question straight away. If your child follows ICSE, add that too, so the suggested tutors know the course. Two or three names will come back, each showing a fee before the free first lesson.
Is the first tutor not quite right after a few weeks? That happens, and it is nothing to worry about. Tell us what you would like done differently and we will suggest another person; switching does not cost anything. Tutors from other Old Noida pages, such as Sector 22 or Sector 19, are shown on this page too, after anyone who lives in or travels to Sector 33.
