Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 11 sits in the Old Noida zone of Noida, right against the Delhi border at New Kondli. It is an old plotted sector with houses, builder floors and a few small apartment buildings, a village pocket called Jhundpura, and some commercial and light-industrial plots. The nearest metro station is a short auto ride away rather than a walk, which shapes how tutors reach you.
| Point | Sector 11 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Old Noida, on the Delhi edge beside New Kondli |
| Homes | Independent houses, builder floors and standalone low-rise buildings in lettered blocks; a few apartment buildings such as Dhavalgiri Apartments; the Jhundpura village pocket |
| Other land use | Mixed residential, commercial and light-industrial plots; OpenStreetMap maps much of the sector as industrial land |
| Nearest metro | Noida Sector 15 on the Blue Line, listed at about 2.8 km; sharing autos run to the station |
| Roads people name | Narmada Marg, Vyapar Marg, New Kondli Road, Noida Road, Udyog Marg and Pragati Marg |
| Landmarks | Metro Hospital on Narmada Marg, the Sahara media complex, L Block Park and P Block Park, H Block market |

| Easier lesson windows | Straight after school, or once the Narmada Marg evening rush has passed |
Sector 11 is one of Noida's first-generation sectors. Property portals describe it as low-rise: independent houses, builder floors and standalone buildings on authority plots, arranged in lettered blocks. NoBroker names R, P, L and H blocks, and the larger houses on its sale listings run to four bedrooms and more. Rentals cover everything from one-room sets to three-bedroom floors, so the sector has long-settled owner families as well as tenants who moved in for work.
Apartments are a small part of the picture. Square Yards lists Dhavalgiri Apartments as a ready-to-move block of two-bedroom flats in the sector. Most children, though, live in a house or on one floor of a plotted building, often with relatives on the floor above or below.
Two things make Sector 11 different from the purely residential sectors of Old Noida. First, it is mixed: NoBroker calls it residential and commercial with some industrial properties, and OpenStreetMap maps much of the sector polygon as industrial land. The Sahara media complex stands here, and so does the Metro Hospital campus on Narmada Marg. Second, OpenStreetMap marks Jhundpura, a village hamlet of narrower lanes and denser housing, inside the sector.
In a plotted house the tutor walks up to your door and rings the bell. There is no visitor app and no tower to find, but there may be a shared staircase or a ground-floor shop next to the entrance, so describe the gate and the floor clearly. In a builder floor, the lesson usually happens in the drawing room or a child's room; in a joint-family house, a room on a quieter floor is worth setting aside for the hour. In Jhundpura, send the tutor a map pin and the nearest landmark, because lane names are less useful there than a shop or temple everyone knows.
Resident reviews of Sector 11 on property portals keep returning to the same everyday points. None of them is a reason to avoid home tuition; each is simply something to plan for.
The other questions are the ones every parent asks: will the tutor turn up on the same evening each week, do they know the board's marking, and what happens if the first tutor is not right? On NXTutors, switching later is free, and you see every fee before the demo.
The nearest station is Noida Sector 15 on the Blue Line, which NoBroker lists at about 2.8 km from Sector 11. The station stands on Captain Vijayant Thapar Marg and opened in November 2009; the next stop towards Delhi is New Ashok Nagar, and towards Noida it is Sector 16. A tutor who rides the Blue Line usually finishes the trip by sharing auto or e-rickshaw, and NoBroker notes that shared autos run between the sector and the station.
Buses are another option. NoBroker lists stops at Sector 11 Crossing, New Kondli A-1 and Noida More in Sector 8. On the Delhi side, the Pink Line station at Trilokpuri–Sanjay Lake is listed at about 4.5 km and the New Ashok Nagar regional rail station at about 4.4 km, so a tutor living in East Delhi has more than one way in.
By road, Narmada Marg and Vyapar Marg are the roads inside and around the sector, with New Kondli Road running towards the Delhi border. Noida Road, Udyog Marg and Pragati Marg carry traffic to the rest of the city. A tutor from Sector 12 or Sector 22 can come on local roads without touching the busier arteries, which is why tutors from the next-door sectors are often the steadiest weekly choice.
We do not quote minutes for any of these trips, because the time changes so much with the hour. Ask each tutor which route they will take and at what time they leave, and you will know quickly whether a 5 pm slot is realistic or a 6:30 pm one is safer.
Most Sector 11 homes have no society gate, so the arrangements are simple. Before the demo, send the tutor your house number, block, the colour of the gate or a nearby landmark such as L Block Park or the H Block market, and which floor you are on. If a shop or office shares your frontage, say so, because a first-time visitor can easily ring the wrong bell. For a home in Jhundpura, a map pin and a phone call at the lane entrance save time.
In an apartment building with a guard, give the guard the tutor's name and the lesson days once. Ask where a visitor's scooter or car can stand: in a sector where reviewers describe parking as hard, a clear answer helps a tutor arrive calm and on time.
Keep an adult at home for the whole lesson, especially with younger children, and use a room with the door open. If you would feel more comfortable with a woman tutor, mention it in your request; we look for a woman home tutor in Noida who can reach Sector 11 for your class and timing. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check: a one-time code on their phone or email and a government photo ID that our team reviews. It confirms identity and is not a police or background check, so read how the ID check works and judge the teaching yourself at the free demo.
Families in Sector 11 most often ask about CBSE. Some households in the sector ask for UP Board help, often for an older child or a cousin living in the same house, and a smaller number ask about ICSE, ISC or the international boards. For a home tutor in a plotted house, the board matters mainly for the books: an NCERT set for CBSE, the board's prescribed texts for ICSE, and the Hindi- or English-medium books for UP Board.
If two children in the house are on different boards, say so in one request. A tutor who comes to the same address for two children saves a second trip through the Narmada Marg traffic, and we can look for someone who handles both syllabuses. For CBSE subject help, see CBSE home tutors across Noida; for a full comparison of the boards, read our board comparison guide.
For young children, three or four short lessons a week work better than two long ones. Pick a corner of the house away from the shop noise or the television, and keep the school diary there so the tutor can see what the class did that day. In a joint-family home, ask other adults to keep the room quiet for the hour; small children are easily drawn away by visitors.
These years set up the board classes. Many Sector 11 families start with one tutor for Maths and Science together and add English later. Each week, the tutor should glance through the school notebook and the latest class test. If your child finds Maths hard, a maths tutor in Noida who checks working line by line catches the habits that cost marks later.
This is when regular slots matter most. Choose evenings the tutor can reach without crossing the worst of the rush, and keep them fixed through the year. A lesson of about an hour and a half, two or three times a week, leaves time to teach a topic and then set a timed question. Families who want board-year support should say so in the request, with the school's pre-board dates.
Senior students usually need one tutor per subject. For Physics, Chemistry or Maths at this level, the right specialist may live well beyond Old Noida, and that is where an online lesson or a mix of home and online helps. A student who also attends coaching elsewhere often finds a weekend morning home lesson easiest to protect, because weekday evenings fill up fast.
For most students here, board exams fall in the first months of the calendar year, and school pre-boards come before them. Take dates only from the board's own website: cbse.gov.in and cbseacademic.nic.in for CBSE, cisce.org for ICSE and ISC, and upmsp.edu.in for UP Board. Plan with the tutor when lessons move from new topics to revision and past papers. If the monsoon or a power cut has cost lessons earlier in the year, that is the time to agree a few extra sessions, online if travel is hard.
A home tutor suits most school-subject needs in Sector 11. Your child stays put, you can hear how the lesson goes, and there is no gate routine to arrange. The trade-off is that the tutor depends on the roads, and the station is an auto ride away, so tutors from Sectors 12, 22 and 10 are often the easiest weekly fit.
Online lessons skip the auto ride and the parking question altogether. They suit rain-soaked evenings, a specialist subject, or a senior student whose teacher lives in another city. Keep a charged laptop and check the inverter, given what reviewers say about power cuts. See online tuition for Noida students for how it works.
A coaching centre moves the travel onto your child. From Sector 11 that usually means an auto to the metro or a ride to a centre elsewhere, and a late return through busy junctions. Many families pick home lessons for school subjects and keep one outside class only where a specialist is needed.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors fix their own rates, and yours appear on the shortlist before any demo is booked.
Several things move a fee within that band: the class and board, the subject, how long each lesson lasts and how many lessons you book in a week. Teaching two siblings at the same address in one visit is something to ask about, since the tutor makes one trip instead of two. Travel counts too. A tutor coming from the next block spends little time on the road; one who comes by metro and then an auto, or drives across the Narmada Marg rush, may prefer fewer but longer lessons.
Before you agree, ask how the tutor treats holidays, lessons you cancel, and lessons they cannot reach because of weather. A clear rule for monsoon evenings, such as moving them online, keeps the month's bill predictable.
We found no public library run by the Noida Authority in Sector 11. L Block Park and P Block Park are the green spaces residents mention for walks, which suit a break between study blocks rather than study itself. For most students, a quiet room at home is still the main place to work, so set one up with a table, good light and the school books in one place.
Sectors 8 and 10, also beside Sector 11, are mostly industrial and do not have NXTutors area pages. The Old Noida zone guide compares all the sectors from 11 to 33.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 11 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.
NXT AI can make mistakes. Please verify important details. Continue on WhatsApp
Is your child in Sector 11 preparing for JEE, or simply finding Chemistry hard at school? Either way, say so plainly in your request, along with class, board and chapters already done, and NXTutors will propose two or three people suited to it.
On this page, tutors living in Sector 11 or travelling to it are shown before everyone else. Then come those covering the rest of the Old Noida zone, followed by the wider city, tutors teaching at home from Delhi or Ghaziabad, and online lessons last. Each card explains why it is there.
Sector 12, Sector 14, Sector 14A and Sector 15 are listed beside Sector 11 and are worth opening if you want a wider choice. For IB or IGCSE Physics, ask a tutor which papers they have taught before and how they use them in lessons. For English, a recent marked essay tells a tutor more than a long description. If the first tutor is not right, tell us what to change. Whichever subject comes first, ask for a short plan after the demo so you know what the coming weeks will cover, and keep the school notebook handy for that class.
