Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

It is farther from the Sector 18 stations than most of the zone, and its nearest metro stops are on the Blue Line's branch towards Electronic City. This guide covers the routes, the lanes, and what to plan for each school stage.

Sector 23 is a residential sector of mixed housing. Property portals list independent houses, builder floors and gated communities, along with some villas and plots, in sizes from 2 BHK up to large 6 BHK homes. Listings place homes in Block A, Block B and Block C, and NoBroker tags the sector as residential, mid-premium and family-friendly, with a calm, green feel.
The sector lies on the eastern side of Old Noida. To the west is Sector 22, a sector of builder floors and independent houses that takes in the Chaura area; to the east are Sector 53 and Gijhor village; to the south lie Sectors 24, 33 and 34. Sector 24 next door has the ESIC Model Hospital, a seven-storey building, and the police station that patrols the area. Inside Sector 23 itself, residents point to Noida Sector 23 Park, a community park, and the Mahadevi Mandir as everyday landmarks.
Reviewers say there are few restaurants or cafés in the sector and that people go to the malls and markets around it for shopping. Portals list several IT and business parks a few kilometres from the sector, and office hours there decide when a working parent can be home for a lesson.
For tuition, the mix of housing matters. In a house or builder floor, the tutor rings your bell; in a gated community, there is a gate entry first. Large plotted houses often have a spare room for study, while a floor in a builder building may mean a lesson at the dining table. Tell the tutor which of these you have.
Resident reviews of Sector 23 on property portals point to a handful of practical issues. Each one is easy to plan around once you know about it.
Beyond that, parents ask what every family asks: will the tutor keep time, do they know my child's board, and is a senior subject better taught at home or online? The rest of this guide answers those for Sector 23.
Sector 23 is one of the few Old Noida sectors where the Sector 18 stations are not the natural choice. NoBroker lists Noida Sector 34 station at about 3 km and Noida Sector 59 at about 3.5 km. Noida Sector 34 opened on 8 March 2019 on the Blue Line extension, on Captain Shashi Kant Marg, between Noida City Centre and Noida Sector 52. A tutor on the Blue Line can ride to Sector 34 and take an auto or e-rickshaw for the last stretch.
Buses stop at Noida Sector 23 and at Noida Sector 53 Chowk, which suits a tutor coming from elsewhere in Noida by bus. By road, residents name Kamal Marg, Tulsi Marg, Vindhyachal Marg and Main Road Gijhor, with the Noida Bypass Flyover nearby.
The shortest journeys come from the touching sectors: Sector 22 to the west, Sector 12 to the north-west, Sector 53 to the east and Sectors 33 and 34 to the south. A tutor from these can usually use inner roads. A tutor coming from Delhi has a longer trip than for the sectors near the DND, and Hindustan Times reports evening tailbacks between the Mahamaya Flyover and the DND exit; an earlier slot is easier for them.
We do not list travel minutes, because they vary so much with the hour. Ask each tutor which way they will come and pick a slot that fits.
In a house or builder floor, the tutor arrives at your door, so the address must be complete: block letter, house number, floor and a landmark. Noida Sector 23 Park, the Mahadevi Mandir and the Noida Sector 23 bus stop are useful reference points. Send a location pin as well, since several lanes look alike.
If you live in one of the gated communities, give security the tutor's name and timing before the demo, or add them as a guest in the visitor app. After the first week, ask the office how to set up a standing entry for a regular visitor. Tell a tutor who drives where they can park, since lanes are narrow.
Keep lessons in a room an adult can see, with someone at home for younger children. Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check, set out on our page about tutor ID checks. It is an identity check, not a police or background check, so use the free demo to see how the tutor teaches. If you prefer a woman tutor, say so in your request and the shortlist will reflect that.
Children in Sector 23 mostly study CBSE or ICSE/ISC, and some families here also ask for UP Board tutors for High School and Intermediate. A UP Board tutor in Noida should know the UPMSP syllabus and the Hindi-medium or English-medium papers your child writes. A few students follow IB or Cambridge IGCSE, and for them online tutors widen the choice.
Whatever the board, ask the tutor to look at your child's last school test at the demo, so lessons start from how the school marks. For the comparison of boards, read our guide to choosing between CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
For Classes 1 to 5, a short daily or alternate-day lesson keeps reading, writing and arithmetic on track. In a plotted house, a small table near where a parent works is enough. A tutor from Sector 22 or 12 can usually come soon after school without crossing busy roads.
Middle school is a good time to fix English writing, which affects every subject later. An English home tutor can work on grammar, comprehension and answer structure alongside school homework. Maths and science gaps also start to show here, so ask the tutor to test the basics at the demo.
Class 9 lays the base for the Class 10 board paper, and many chapters carry straight over. A Class 9 home tutor who builds steady habits now saves a rush later. Ask how they will mix new chapters with short revision tests.
In the board year, timed practice and correct answer format matter as much as the syllabus. Plan when lessons switch from teaching to past papers.
Senior students need a separate specialist for each subject. For chemistry, a chemistry home tutor can handle physical, organic and inorganic chemistry and the practical record. For JEE or NEET, the tutor's job is usually to support a course with doubts and tests.
Take dates only from the boards: cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, upmsp.edu.in for UP Board High School and Intermediate, ibo.org and cambridgeinternational.org. Board papers fall outside the monsoon, but the auto ride from the Sector 34 station still adds to a tutor's trip. In the last weeks, one online lesson a week saves the tutor's travel and leaves more time for practice papers.
Home tuition in Sector 23 means no travel for your child and a lesson you can watch. With the metro about 3 km away, it also keeps your child off the roads in the evening.
Online lessons make the most sense for specialist subjects, international boards and exam weeks, and when rain or traffic would make the trip slow.
A coaching centre puts the travel on your child. If your child attends one for an entrance course, a home or online tutor for school subjects and doubts fills the gaps without more journeys.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors coming to Sector 23 price their own lessons, and each price sits on your shortlist ahead of the demo.
The class, board and subject set most of the fee; the length of each lesson and the number of lessons a week set the rest. For Sector 23, a tutor from Sector 22, 12 or 53 has a short trip, while one who comes from the Sector 34 station by auto, or crosses Noida in the evening, may ask a little more or prefer fewer, longer lessons.
Agree how missed lessons, holidays and extra exam classes are charged, and work out the monthly total before you begin.
We did not find a public library or community reading room in Sector 23. Noida Sector 23 Park is pleasant for a break between study sessions. For most children here, a quiet room at home is the study space.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 23 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Choosing a tutor for a child in Sector 23 usually starts with a few plain details, and that is where we begin too. Tell us the class, the board, the textbooks the school uses and which chapters feel shaky, and we reply with two or three tutors who fit, each with a fee shown up front before anything is booked.
This page is one of twenty that make up the Old Noida zone on NXTutors. At the head of the list you will find anyone who lives in Sector 23 or has said they are willing to come here. Below them are tutors from other Old Noida sectors, such as Sector 15A or Sector 20, then those from the wider city, then home tutors who live in Delhi, Ghaziabad or another NCR city, and lastly online teachers. A line on each card explains why that person appears.
For Class 11 and 12 Chemistry or Economics, some parents like a home tutor for steady weekly work and an online specialist for the hardest chapters. Whichever you choose, watch during the first lesson how the tutor checks what your child already knows.
