Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Sector 30 is part of the Old Noida zone of Noida. It is a sector of houses in lettered blocks, each with its own park, and it holds two large public hospitals: the Gautam Buddh Nagar district hospital and the government child-health institute on the corner of Maharaja Agrasen Marg and Nithari Road. The metro is further away than in Sectors 28 and 29, so this guide spends more time on the last stretch.

Square Yards describes Sector 30 as mostly independent houses, with configurations running from small units up to very large homes. NoBroker lists independent houses and standalone buildings alongside apartments of 1 to 4+ BHK, and tags the sector residential and family-oriented. It is one of Old Noida's plotted sectors, laid out by the Noida Authority in blocks rather than built as towers.
The blocks are the way locals find their way around. NoBroker and OpenStreetMap name A, B, C, D and E Blocks, and most blocks have a park of their own: Block A Park, B Block Park, C-Block Park, D Block Park and E Block Park all appear on the maps or listings, along with an RWA park. Kirtiman Plaza in E Block and the D Block market cover daily shopping. A house number with its block letter is usually enough for a tutor to find you, once they know which side of the sector the block sits on.
Two big public hospitals give the sector its most familiar landmarks. The Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration lists its government district hospital in Sector 30, mapped as Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Multispeciality Hospital. The Post Graduate Institute of Child Health, formerly the Super Speciality Paediatric Hospital and Post Graduate Teaching Institute, stands at the corner of Maharaja Agrasen Marg and Nithari Road. Both are useful markers when you give a tutor directions.
NoBroker reviewers describe Sector 30 as calm, green and developed, with good street lighting and well-kept roads. In a house with a spare room, a tutor can teach behind a closed door. In a smaller unit or a shared house, a corner away from the front door and the television works better.
NoBroker reviews of Sector 30 bring up a short list of practical points. Here is what each one means for regular lessons.
The other questions are the ones every parent asks: will the tutor keep one slot all year, do they know the school's board, and should a senior subject be taught at home or online? The sections that follow answer them for Sector 30.
Sector 30 does not have a metro station on its doorstep. NoBroker puts Botanical Garden about 2.4 km away, Noida Sector 18 about 2.5 km away and Noida Sector 16 about 3.5 km away. A tutor travelling by metro therefore takes a train to one of those and an auto or e-rickshaw for the rest. Botanical Garden is the most useful of the three, because both the Blue and the Magenta Lines stop there.
By road, the sector is framed by Maharaja Agrasen Marg, which carries a flyover past the sector, Nithari Road, Chameli Marg and Kachnar Marg. A tutor driving in should know which of these roads your block opens onto, and whether to stay on the flyover or take the road below it.
Many tutors will come from the sectors that touch Sector 30. OpenStreetMap shows Sectors 26, 28, 29 and 31 on its edges, and NoBroker also lists Sectors 25 and 36 among the surroundings. A tutor from one of these can reach you by internal roads and often teaches more than one family in the area on the same evening.
When you send your request, mention your block letter and the road your gate faces. That helps us match tutors who live close by, and it helps a tutor who travels by train plan the auto ride from the station.
Most Sector 30 homes are houses, so there is usually no society gate. The tutor rings your bell. That makes the first visit about directions: send the block letter, house number, a map pin and a nearby marker, such as the block park, the D Block market or the hospital gate. If your house is one of several floors, say which floor and which bell.
If the tutor arrives by scooter, show them where it can stand without blocking a neighbour's gate. In the evenings, when reviewers say parking is tight, an earlier slot often solves the problem.
Keep an adult at home during each lesson and the study room door open, especially with younger children. A family who would like a woman tutor can add that to the request; we include women home tutors in Noida on the shortlist where available for the class, subject and timing.
Tutors who sign up with NXTutors go through an ID check. They confirm their phone or email with a one-time code and submit a government photo ID, which our team reviews. The review covers who the tutor is; it is not a police or background check. See how tutor ID review works, then judge the teaching at the free demo.
Most requests from Sector 30 are for CBSE, with ICSE and ISC next and a smaller share for IB, Cambridge IGCSE and UP Board. The house layout helps with any of them: a spare room lets the tutor leave a whiteboard or a file of past papers in place from week to week.
For CBSE, keep the NCERT books and the school's worksheets in that room. For ICSE and ISC, give the tutor the CISCE prescribed-text list early. A UP Board student should tell the tutor whether they write in Hindi or English, since that decides the books and the practice papers.
For a fuller view of how the boards differ, read our board comparison guide. UP Board families can see UP Board tutors in Noida.
Short lessons several times a week suit small children. In a house, a ground-floor room near the family keeps a young child settled and lets a parent look in. The block park makes a good reward after a lesson.
The middle years are where Maths and Science foundations are laid. Many families pick one tutor for both and add English later. A tutor who reviews the school notebook and the last test paper every week spots weak topics before they pile up. See science tuition at home in Noida for this stage.
Class 9 starts the board run. Two or three lessons of 75 to 90 minutes each week give room for teaching, practice and one timed question. In Class 10, the CBSE main exam is the goal, with the board's optional later sitting there for improvement if needed.
Seniors usually work with a separate tutor in each main subject, such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Accountancy or Economics. Because the metro is a little further away, Sector 30 families often find that the senior subject specialist they want teaches online, while a nearby tutor covers the school subjects at home. Our Class 12 home tutors in Noida page explains the options.
For entrance work, a home tutor can support the coaching timetable with doubt-clearing and school-board practice; heavier specialist papers often move online.
Board exams for most children here come between late winter and early spring. CBSE, CISCE and UP Board each publish timetables on their own sites, IB Diploma exams run in May and November, and Cambridge IGCSE has March, June and November series. Rely on those sites for dates. Since the monsoon has passed by then, the main risk in exam season is evening traffic, so long revision sessions work well on weekend mornings at home.
A home tutor means your child stays in, and you can see the lesson for yourself. In Sector 30, the house layout makes this easy: there is usually a quiet room, and no gate queue.
Online lessons remove the last-mile problem entirely. They suit rainy evenings, exam weeks and senior subjects where the right teacher lives far away; see online tutors serving Noida.
A coaching centre suits a child who likes a batch and a fixed timetable. From Sector 30, getting to a centre means the same weak last mile that tutors face, in reverse, and a late class means an auto ride home after dark. Many families mix the two, with a home tutor for school subjects and one centre or online class for an exam goal.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Every tutor sets their own rate, and you see it on the shortlist before the demo.
What changes a fee: the class and board, the subject, the lesson length and the number of lessons a week. Travel matters more here than in sectors beside a station. A tutor from Sector 26, 29 or 31 has a short ride, while one who comes by metro and then an auto may prefer fewer, longer lessons.
Agree at the start how holidays, cancellations and extra lessons before exams are counted, so the month's bill holds no surprises.
We could not find a public library or community study room in Sector 30 run by the Noida Authority. The block parks and the RWA park are good for a short break between study sessions. OpenStreetMap also marks an indoor badminton court in the sector, useful for exercise rather than study. A quiet room at home remains the main study space.

AI-first tutoring, with real teachers
You tell us the class, board, subject and where in Sector 30 you live. Our AI does the slow part of the search and returns two or three tutors who fit, not a long list to scroll. You see each tutor's fee before the free demo, and switching tutor later is free.
Where AI stops and people start
Move out to the wider area or in to nearby sectors. Tutors usually travel short distances, so the closest areas are the most useful places to look.
Distances are straight-line estimates between sector centres from OpenStreetMap data; the road route is usually longer.

Commerce in Class 11 can surprise a student. Accountancy and Economics may both be quite new to your child at this stage, and Maths does not disappear either. If that is where your child is in Sector 30, tell us the subjects, the board and which topics feel hardest, and we will suggest two or three people to try.
On NXTutors, Sector 30 is part of Old Noida, whose twenty pages run from Sector 11 through to Sector 33. This page shows first any tutor who lives in Sector 30 or lists it among the places they go. Tutors from other Old Noida pages like Sector 19 follow, then the rest of the city, then home tutors from Ghaziabad or another NCR city, and lastly online teachers. Each card explains its place in a few words.
One practical point: if your building keeps a visitor register, add the tutor's name once so the first visit runs smoothly. Ask in advance whether the tutor brings worksheets or works from the school book, and where at home your child will sit for the lessons. You can also browse Accountancy home tutors across Noida.
