Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Faridabad's geography is unusually simple for a JEE family to plan around. The Violet Line runs the length of Mathura Road, from the Delhi border at Sarai down to Ballabhgarh, so most of the older city is a short ride and an auto from a tutor's home. Across the Agra canal, Greater Faridabad, known locally as Neharpar, has no metro at all, and the canal crossings clog in the evening. Those two facts shape almost every decision: who the tutor is, which days they come, and which of maths, physics and chemistry happen online. This page sets out the zones, the slots that hold up around coaching and school, and how the plan changes for CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and Haryana board students. Our national JEE home tutor hub explains the exams in full.
In the NTA's 2026 bulletin, JEE (Main) Paper 1 was a computer-based test of three hours with 75 questions, 25 each in mathematics, physics and chemistry, worth 300 marks. Wrong answers lost a mark in both the multiple-choice and numerical sections. Two sessions ran, and the better score counted; ties were settled first on the maths score. JEE (Advanced), conducted by the IITs for top-ranked Main candidates, is two compulsory three-hour papers. Rules change year to year, so read the current documents on jeemain.nta.nic.in and jeeadv.ac.in.
West of the canal, five zones line up along Mathura Road and the metro. A tutor from anywhere on the line, including south Delhi, can reach these homes; what needs planning is the last leg and the evening peak. Every sector we cover is on the Faridabad page.
| Zone | Nearest stations and last leg | Slot advice |
|---|---|---|
| Sectors 28 to 31 and 37, e.g. Sector 28 | Sector 28, Mewla Maharajpur, NHPC Chowk or Sarai; south Delhi tutors come as easily as local ones | Late afternoon, or after the evening rush towards Mathura Road |
| Central sectors on Mathura Road, e.g. Sector 14 | Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Old Faridabad, Bata Chowk, Badkhal Mor and Escorts Mujesar sit in or beside the sectors | Start before or after the peak on Mathura Road and the Badkhal flyover |
| NIT and Old Faridabad | Bata Chowk or Neelam Chowk Ajronda, then an auto; doorstep visits on narrow lanes | Soon after school or a weekend morning; railway-crossing and market roads jam in the evening |
| Surajkund and Sainik Colony, e.g. Sector 45 | No station on the hill: auto from a Violet Line stop, or the tutor's own two-wheeler | Slightly later than school and college timings on the Surajkund–Badkhal Road |
| Ballabhgarh and southern sectors, e.g. Sector 65 | Sihi or the Ballabhgarh terminus, or an EMU train to Ballabhgarh station, then auto or e-rickshaw | Weekend or early evening, clear of factory shift changes on the Sohna Road side |
The NIT and central Faridabad tuition guide covers the older city in more depth.
Sectors 75 to 80 and Sectors 81 to 89 are mostly gated societies, with plotted pockets such as Sector 84's lettered blocks. A tutor coming by metro gets off at a station on the old-city side and takes an auto across the canal; Kheri Road and the crossings clog in the evening. For a JEE student in Sector 75 or Sector 84, three habits help:
Our Greater Faridabad and Neharpar guide has more on the area. In the tower sectors, gate-to-flat time adds up, so ask the tutor to arrive five minutes early for the first few visits so the session can begin on the hour.
Take two illustrative Class 11 students with the same coaching timetable, Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, and the same weak spot in physics. One lives in a central sector near a Violet Line station; the other in a Neharpar society.
| Central sector, near the metro | Neharpar society | |
|---|---|---|
| Main physics session | Tuesday and Thursday after school, 75 minutes each, at home; the tutor rides the Violet Line | Saturday morning, two hours, at home, with a tutor who crosses the canal before traffic builds |
| Coaching doubts | Folded into the Tuesday and Thursday sessions | Online, 40 minutes, on Tuesday night |
| Test review | Sunday, online, 45 minutes | Thursday, online, 45 minutes |
| Why | Short trips at fixed hours are easy along the line | One well-timed journey a week protects the hours that matter |
Neither plan is better in general; each fits its map. Tell us your coaching days when you ask for tutors, and we shortlist people whose own week and route fit yours.
| Period | Tutor's focus | Local note |
|---|---|---|
| Start of session to the autumn | Class 12 chapters alongside coaching; one Class 11 topic revised every week | Fix the home slot now and keep it all year |
| Autumn to the January session | Full-length timed papers; each reviewed question by question | Weekend mornings suit long reviews, before roads fill |
| Before pre-boards and boards | Written board answers and practicals, then back to JEE papers | Around Surajkund, the February crafts mela loads the roads; switch to online on mela days |
| Before the April session | Targeted chapters from the January result; more full papers | Online sessions protect time if travel becomes a strain |
Dates for every session are published in the NTA bulletin each year; treat the months above as the usual shape, not fixed dates. A repeat-year student, free in the daytime, can take weekday home sessions when Mathura Road and the canal crossings are lighter.
Both JEE papers are computer-based, so screen practice helps whatever the mode. Our subject guides on maths, physics and chemistry, and the JEE physics tutor page, go deeper.
Faridabad students come to JEE from CBSE, ICSE and ISC, Cambridge IGCSE, and the Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE), whose schools may teach in Hindi or English. The NTA syllabus follows NCERT content, so each board starts from a different gap.
| Board | Class 11 priority | Class 12 and beyond |
|---|---|---|
| CBSE | Speed and depth beyond school questions; an error log from the first month | Full papers before the January session; board answers before pre-boards |
| ISC or IGCSE | A unit map against the NTA syllabus, so JEE work keeps pace with school; IGCSE families read the bulletin's qualifying-examination list | Gap units taught as school reaches them |
| HBSE | The board's own syllabus compared with the NTA units, gaps listed early; the paper language chosen (Main had 13 languages in 2026, Advanced English and Hindi) | Objective practice in the chosen language alongside the board's written papers |
| Repeat year | Last year's papers diagnosed first. The 2026 bulletin admitted Class XII pass-outs of the two previous years to Main; Advanced allows two attempts in consecutive years | |
For the school side of the same subjects, see our Faridabad maths, physics and chemistry tutor pages. HBSE families can check the current syllabus on bseh.org.in.
If it does not fit, we arrange the next demo, and switching later is free. Tutors who join go through an ID check, and you can browse tutor profiles.

Yes, from the sectors near the Delhi border and the central sectors on Mathura Road to NIT, Surajkund, Ballabhgarh and both halves of Greater Faridabad. We match on how the tutor will reach you at your slot, so share your sector or society, the coaching days and the hours that are free.
Often, yes, especially in the northern and central sectors. The Violet Line runs along Mathura Road from Sarai, so a tutor can ride to the nearest station and finish by auto. Ask which station they will use, and avoid slots that need a road crossing at the evening peak.
There is no metro across the canal, and Kheri Road and the crossings clog in the evening. A tutor who lives in Neharpar is easiest for weekday home sessions. For a specialist from the old-city side, combine one weekend home visit with online sessions in between, and pre-approve the tutor at the gate.
Yes. The tutor should compare the Haryana board syllabus with the NTA units at the start of Class 11 and teach the gaps early. JEE Main was offered in 13 languages in 2026 and Advanced in English and Hindi, so choose the paper language early. Check bseh.org.in for the board syllabus.
A free weekday soon after school, before Mathura Road and the Badkhal flyover peak, suits the main home session. On coaching evenings, use a short online doubt session. Around Surajkund, move to online on February mela days. Keep the home slot the same each week so the tutor can plan.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour, with JEE toward the upper end and JEE Advanced specialists able to charge more. Tutors set their own fee and you see each one before the demo. A mix of home and online sessions usually lowers the monthly total.
Yes. We send two or three matched tutors with their fees, and the first class with the one you choose is a free demo. Bring unsolved questions from the latest coaching sheet. If the tutor does not suit, we arrange the next demo, and switching tutor later is free too.
