Who asks for jee and neet tutors in Kolkata
In the 2026 WBJEE bulletin, the exam was a single sitting of two papers: Paper I, Mathematics, 75 questions for 100 marks in two hours, and Paper II, Physics and Chemistry, 40 questions and 50 marks each in two hours. Category 1 questions carry one mark with a quarter-mark penalty, Category 2 two marks with a half-mark penalty, and Category 3 two marks for marking all the correct options, a proportional share for some correct options and no wrong one, and zero if any wrong option is marked. Calculators, log tables and watches are not allowed. The General Merit Rank adds both papers; the Pharmacy Merit Rank uses Paper II alone, and ties are broken first on fewer negative marks.
JEE Main Paper 1 in NTA's 2026 bulletin had 25 questions in each of maths, physics and chemistry with four marks for a right answer and one deducted for a wrong one; NEET (UG) had 180 questions, 90 of them biology, for 720 marks, marked the same way. A student may face all of these within a few months, each with different guessing rules.
Board schedules sit around them. WBCHSE Higher Secondary runs in four semesters, MCQ in I and III and written in II and IV, with no calculator in any semester; ISC and CBSE have their own Class 12 papers. Families ask for one subject tutor who keeps the board answers secure, adds WBJEE category strategy and, where needed, JEE or NEET practice.

A family request that fits your subjects, classes, board, areas and hours reaches your dashboard. Opening the family's contact details uses lead credits, and the credit price is shown on the request before you open it. At most 5 tutors can open one request, and a request stays open for 7 days. Credit packs are there if you need more.
How you get paid
You set your own fee. When a family pays for classes through NXTutors, you receive 50% of the fee for home tuition in the first month and the full fee after that, and 70% of the fee for online tuition every month. Payments are held for 7 days, then paid out weekly. How you get paid.
