Tutors who join go through an ID check. Tell us the class, board and your area: we share two or three matched tutors, each with their fee, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online.
Book a free demo classAcross NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Economics in Classes 11 and 12 is part theory, part numbers and part drawing, and Ghaziabad students meet it through several boards. A CBSE student needs statistics and national income worked step by step, an ISC student needs complete long answers, a UP Board student may be learning the subject in Hindi, and the smaller IB and IGCSE group need evaluation and coursework technique. Any family in the city, from Indirapuram to Raj Nagar Extension, can request an economics tutor. NXTutors sends two or three tutor profiles that suit the course and can reach your khand, sector or colony, each fee shown, and the first class with your chosen tutor is a free demo. Online lessons are there to widen the choice when travel or the course narrows it.
CBSE is the most common board in Ghaziabad. ICSE and ISC hold a steady share, the IB and IGCSE are smaller, and UP Board schools sit the state's High School and Intermediate exams. At the senior level, economics looks like this:
| Board and course | Structure | Where a tutor helps most |
|---|---|---|
| CBSE Economics (030) | Class 11: statistics and microeconomics, 40 marks each. Class 12: macroeconomics and Indian Economic Development, 40 each. A 20-mark project in both years. | Numericals laid out step by step; diagrams; long answers |
| ISC Economics (856) | A three-hour, 80-mark paper: 20 compulsory short-answer marks, then five 12-mark questions from eight; two 10-mark projects | Writing complete 12-mark answers inside the time |
| Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455) | A multiple-choice paper and a structured paper, which opens with a compulsory six-part question | Short, precise structured answers |
| Cambridge AS & A Level (9708) | Multiple-choice papers plus data response and essays at AS and A Level | Essay planning and data handling |
| IB Economics SL or HL | Extended response and data response papers, a policy paper at HL, and a three-commentary internal assessment | Evaluation and commentary technique |
| UP Board (UPMSP) | Economics in the Intermediate classes to the board's own syllabus and pattern, in Hindi or English medium | Teaching from the board's syllabus in the child's medium |
UP Board families can find the current syllabus on upmsp.edu.in. For unit marks and paper timings on the other courses, see our national economics home tutor guide. Whole-board help is on our CBSE tutors in Ghaziabad, ICSE and ISC tutors in Ghaziabad and IB tutors in Ghaziabad pages.
A correct diagram is one of the most reliable sources of marks in economics, and one of the most often wasted. Examiners look for labelled axes, named curves, marked equilibrium points and an arrow showing any shift, and they expect the written answer to refer to the diagram. A tutor's simplest weekly drill is to ask for three of these from memory, then check every label.
| Diagram | Where it appears | Labels students forget |
|---|---|---|
| Production possibility curve | Class 11 microeconomics, introduction | The goods on each axis; a point inside the curve and what it means |
| Demand and supply, with a shift | Class 11, demand, supply and price determination | Original and new equilibrium; direction of the shift |
| Cost curves | Class 11, producer behaviour | Which curve is average and which is marginal; where they meet |
| Aggregate demand and supply, or saving and investment | Class 12, determination of income and employment | The 45-degree line or the equilibrium level of income |
The weighting shows why this matters: consumer's equilibrium and demand, and producer behaviour and supply, carry 14 marks each in Class 11, and determination of income and employment carries 12 in Class 12. Each of those units leans heavily on diagrams.
Because Ghaziabad is in Uttar Pradesh, some students start school in UP Board classrooms where lessons may be in Hindi, and later move to an English-medium board, or stay with the UP Board through Intermediate. Economics is full of exact terms (marginal utility, aggregate demand, fiscal deficit), and a student who understands an idea in one language can still lose marks by not knowing the term in the language of the paper.
A good tutor handles this deliberately: explains in whichever language the student thinks in, then asks for the answer in the exam's language, building a short glossary of key terms as the year goes on. When you send a request, tell us the medium of the exam and the language your child is most comfortable in, and we look for a tutor who can work in both.
Most senior students do well with two lessons a week, each with a different job.
Between lessons, ten minutes a day on terms and one diagram drawn from memory does more than a long weekend session. Close to the pre-boards, the writing lesson becomes a timed section of a past paper.
Economics / Business Economics appears as domain subject 309 in the NTA's 2026 CUET (UG) bulletin: 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes, drawn from NCERT's Class 12 syllabus. The board syllabus provides the knowledge, and timed objective sets add speed. The NTA issues a new bulletin each cycle, so confirm the details for your child's year.
The seven zones on our Ghaziabad page each travel differently. A shortlist starts with tutors who live in your zone, then those who travel there, then the wider city, then online.
The Sahibabad side, with its Red Line stations along GT Road, is covered in our Vaishali, Vasundhara and Sahibabad guide; see also our Indirapuram guide and Raj Nagar and old Ghaziabad guide.
Economics is well suited to online teaching. A shared whiteboard handles diagrams, a news story can be read together on screen, and written answers can be marked and returned between lessons. For the IB and Cambridge courses, online lessons let a family reach a tutor who knows that exact syllabus, wherever they live. Home lessons remain the better fit for many Class 11 students, for statistics and diagrams where a tutor watches the pencil, and for students moving between Hindi and English, where a face-to-face explanation often lands more easily.
Request home tuition if that is your preference. Where the right tutor is across the city, a weekly home session plus a short online check-in keeps progress steady without a long evening journey each time.
If it was not right, ask for the next tutor on your shortlist. Switching is free.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Each tutor sets their own fee and you see it before the demo. Our Ghaziabad fees guide explains what moves it.
Send the course, class, medium, weakest area, your locality, times and budget. Tutors who join go through an ID check, and the free demo class comes first. For the other half of commerce, see our accountancy tutors in Ghaziabad; we also match English, maths and science tutors in Ghaziabad. If Class 11 is still ahead, our stream choice guide and Class 11 page, written for Gurugram families, explain what each stream asks. Teachers can browse open requests on Ghaziabad tuition jobs.

Ask for it in your request. Many students grasp an idea most easily in Hindi but must write the paper in English, or the reverse on the UP Board. A good tutor explains in the language your child thinks in, then practises answers and key terms in the language of the exam.
A tutor makes your child draw the core diagrams from memory every week and checks every label: axes, curves, equilibrium points and the direction of any shift. Just as important, the written answer must refer to the diagram. It is one of the quickest areas to improve.
You can request one, for home or online lessons. Name the course and level, such as IB SL or HL or IGCSE, since the papers differ. If no tutor who knows that syllabus can reach your khand, online lessons let us include specialists from further away on your shortlist.
The pocket has no metro station of its own, so tutors come from Dilshad Garden or Jhilmil on the Red Line, or Kaushambi and Vaishali on the Blue Line, and finish by auto. A tutor living nearby, including just across the Delhi border, usually keeps a weekday slot most reliably.
Not usually separate content. The 2026 bulletin bases the domain test on NCERT's Class 12 syllabus, with 50 compulsory questions in 60 minutes, so board preparation covers the ground. A tutor adds timed objective practice once the board chapters are secure. Check the latest NTA bulletin for your year.
Yes. The first class with the tutor you choose from your shortlist is a free demo, taught on what your child is currently studying. If the fit is wrong, tell us and we arrange a demo with the next tutor. Switching later in the year is free as well.
