Karnataka PUC commerce is taught in pre-university colleges under the Department of School Education (Pre-University), and the II PUC examination is conducted by KSEAB. The department's model paper list includes accountancy, business studies, economics, statistics and basic maths, and it revised its accountancy, business studies and economics books in 2023. Business studies and economics material comes in Kannada and English versions, so the medium matters. CUET (UG) domain tests for Business Studies, Accountancy and Economics are 60 minutes with 50 compulsory questions on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus, so PUC and ISC students compare their own chapters against NCERT.
