Sector 88 is still taking shape, and an honest description has to say so. On OpenStreetMap, the sector boundary encloses a residential area named Bamnoli, and the land around it is shown as open or under development rather than as a row of finished towers. Square Yards, a property portal, names only two projects inside Sector 88 itself, Silverglades Merchant Plaza and Chauhan Complex, and links both to the Dwarka Expressway. It gives no tower or flat details for either.
Wikipedia's page on New Gurgaon groups Sectors 88 and 89 together and describes them as planned for business parks, offices and logistics. That is a plan on paper, not a finished picture, but it explains why Sector 88 has fewer housing societies than the sectors around it.
The gated societies nearest this corner sit just over the sector lines. Godrej Oasis and Adani Aangan are listed in Sector 88A, and Tulip Petals and Tulip Ace are mapped in Sector 89, a little over a kilometre from the middle of Sector 88. So when a request comes in under "Sector 88", it can mean a home in the area mapped as Bamnoli, a new building on the sector's edge, or a society nearby that people loosely describe as Sector 88.
Because the sector has few named societies, a tutor cannot assume a society gate and a tower number. Send a map pin, the lane or plot number, and a landmark the tutor can ask for. If you are in a society next door, use its name; it will match you with tutors who already travel there.
We found no public resident reviews written about Sector 88 alone. The themes below come from news reports on the New Gurugram belt it belongs to, turned into planning points for tuition.
By road. The Dwarka Expressway, numbered NH-248BB, runs close to the sector on OpenStreetMap. Wikipedia gives its length as 27.6 km, from Shiv Murti on NH-48 near Delhi's airport to the NH-48 junction near the Kherki Daula toll plaza, and says the full route opened in June 2025. The Northern Peripheral Road also passes nearby, and the Gurgaon–Rewari road runs a short way to the south-east. Wikipedia notes that New Gurgaon as a whole is cut through by Pataudi Road.
By metro. There is no working metro station in Sector 88. The nearest Yellow Line station is Millennium City Centre Gurugram, the line's southern end, in the older city. Wikipedia's Gurgaon Metro page lists a planned extension from Sector 55-56 towards Pachgaon with stops named for Sectors 88, 84, 85, 89, 86, 90 and 91. Until it runs, treat it as a plan.
By rail. Garhi Harsaru Junction, a Northern Railway station in Gurugram district, is the closest railway stop to this belt, but few tutors would use it for a daily lesson.
Where tutors usually start. In practice, a home tutor for Sector 88 comes from the societies around it, from Sector 84 and Sector 85, or from further along the Dwarka Expressway, usually on a two-wheeler or by car. For young children, a tutor who comes three or four times a week for under an hour does more good than a long weekend session. In a growing sector, pick a tutor whose journey is short, because a tutor who arrives tired and late will not hold a six-year-old's attention. Reading aloud, number work and the school diary are the core.
This is when maths and science stop being easy for many children.
