Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Our page uses the name DLF Belaire Enclave (Annexe). Public records describe DLF The Belaire, a walled DLF society in Sector 54, DLF Phase 5, on Golf Course Road, and we found no separate public listing for an annexe. If your home is in or beside The Belaire, this guide fits; it focuses on the short stretch between the Golf Course Road underpass and Sector 53-54 metro station, which is what shapes a tutor's visit here. For the main society, see our DLF The Belaire page, and for the wider city, Gurugram.

Square Yards' master plan for The Belaire shows five residential blocks labelled A, B, C, D and E on a site of about seven acres. The flats are listed as 4 BHK, in sizes from roughly 2,860 to 4,100 square feet, and the portal says the project launched in 2009 and has been ready for possession for over a decade. OpenStreetMap draws the society with a boundary wall and a Golf Course Road address in DLF 5, Sector 54.
Large flats help home tuition. There is usually a spare room or study where lessons can run without a sibling's screen in the background, and a tutor can lay out past papers across a proper table. Tell the tutor which room they will use so the first lesson does not start with a search for a free surface.
The Belaire sits among DLF Phase 5's other high-rise societies. On OpenStreetMap, Palm Spring is just across the way, The Summit and Royalton Tower lie a few hundred metres off, and Park Place and The Magnolias are a little further along. South Point Mall and the DLF One Horizon Centre office campus sit very close; Square Yards puts the office park about 300 metres from the society.
For tutoring, this mix of homes and offices is the key local fact. It means a tutor's visit competes with office traffic at the start and end of the working day, and it means a Rapid Metro station is within walking distance of the gate.
Public reviews of Sector 54 and local news coverage raise a handful of points. Here is what each means for a weekly lesson.
Families here also ask for tutors who can handle a specific paper, such as IB Physics HL or IGCSE Chemistry, rather than general help. Name the paper in your request.
Metro first. Sector 53-54 station on the Rapid Metro is a few hundred metres from The Belaire on OpenStreetMap, which makes this one of the easier Golf Course Road addresses for a tutor who does not drive. Wikipedia records the station opening on 25 April 2017 as part of the Golf Course Road extension. To the north the line runs through Sector 42-43 and DLF Phase 1 to Sikanderpur, where a walkway links it to the Delhi Metro Yellow Line; to the south it continues to Sector 54 Chowk and Sector 55-56.
A tutor living near the Yellow Line can therefore change at Sikanderpur and ride three stops south to Sector 53-54, then walk to the gate. Ask them to tell you which station exit they use the first time, so you can send a clear walking route. Office crowds use the same station, so a lesson that begins just after the evening peak is calmer for the tutor.
By road. Golf Course Road passes right by the society, and OpenStreetMap shows the Golf Course Road underpass close to it. Tutors driving from DLF Phase 4 or Phase 1 come down Golf Course Road; those from Sohna Road or the Golf Course Extension Road side usually come through AIT Chowk. We avoid quoting travel minutes because office hours change the picture completely.
Who tends to travel here. Tutors who travel to The Belaire are usually from the DLF phases, Sectors 42, 43, 53 and 56, or anywhere along the Yellow Line. For narrow IB or IGCSE subjects, an online specialist often joins a home tutor; our IB tutors in Gurgaon and IGCSE tuition in Gurgaon pages explain how we match for those.
Square Yards lists round-the-clock security, CCTV and an intercom facility for The Belaire. In practice that means the guard will call your flat before letting a new visitor in, so tell the gate the tutor's name and arrival time, or add them to your visitor app, before the demo.
Send the tutor the block letter (A to E) and flat number. With five blocks, that is usually all they need after one visit. If you live in a building beside The Belaire rather than inside it, give your own building's name clearly, because a tutor who asks the Belaire guard for an annexe flat may be sent the wrong way.
For weekly lessons, ask the society office how regular visitors are handled, so the tutor is not held at the gate each time. The clubhouse and party hall are listed amenities, but rules on using shared rooms for private lessons vary; most families keep lessons inside the flat.
Tutors who join NXTutors go through an ID check by our team; our tutor ID check page explains what it covers. It is not a police or background check, so stay at home for the demo and the first few lessons. Families who would rather have a woman tutor can say so in the request; see woman tutors for Gurgaon homes.
On this part of Golf Course Road, requests come in for CBSE, IB and Cambridge IGCSE, with ICSE and ISC from families whose children study elsewhere in the DLF phases. Schools on our approved Gurugram list near Sector 54, in alphabetical order: Lancers International School in Sector 53, DLF Phase 5 (IB PYP, MYP and DP, Cambridge IGCSE); Scottish High International School in Sector 57 (IB PYP, Cambridge IGCSE, CISCE ICSE/ISC, IB DP); Suncity School in Sector 54 (CBSE). We have no tie-up with any of them; they are named only to show which boards are close by.
In a society where several boards sit side by side, give us the board, the year and, for IB, the subject and level. The flat itself changes little about how a tutor teaches; the board and paper change a great deal. Parents still choosing between boards can read our guide to CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE.
Children up to Class 5 learn well in short sessions, around 45 minutes, three or four times a week. A tutor should read with the child, keep number work hands-on and look at the school's weekly plan. In a large flat, a small table in a quiet room works better than the dining table at the centre of family life.
Middle school is where subjects multiply and habits form. A common pattern is one tutor for Maths and Science together, with English or a language added if marks slip. Science in these years builds the base for separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology later; our science home tuition in Gurgaon page describes how we match.
For CBSE students, the board-year rhythm is the main thing; CBSE has announced two Class 10 board examinations from 2026, the second optional for improvement, and the tutor should plan the year around the first. IGCSE students in these years lean heavily on each subject's past papers, and IB MYP students follow their school's own unit plan, so ask for a tutor who has taught that exact programme.
Senior years usually need a separate specialist per subject. IB Diploma students should say which subjects they take at HL and SL, and whether help is needed with internal assessments. CBSE and ISC students preparing for JEE or NEET alongside school should say so, because the tutor then balances school papers with entrance-style practice. With the metro so close, a specialist from elsewhere in Gurugram can often reach The Belaire for a weekend slot.
Neighbouring flats can be on completely different timetables. CBSE board exams fall early in the calendar year; CISCE posts ICSE and ISC timetables on cisce.org; IB Diploma exams run in May or November sessions; and Cambridge IGCSE candidates in India sit in the March, June or November series. Check the date sheet from the board or the school itself.
Plan two things with the tutor: the week when lessons switch to timed papers, and whether extra sessions are needed in the final month. Evening slots close to the metro fill early, so book any additions well ahead.
A home tutor saves your child's travel time and lets you sit in now and then. At The Belaire, the tutor's own journey is easier than in many Gurugram societies because of the nearby metro, though office-hour traffic still matters for those who drive.
Online lessons work well for one specialist subject, for exam weeks and for monsoon evenings. A coaching centre suits a child who wants a fixed batch and a peer group for entrance practice, but it adds travel across Golf Course Road and gives less one-to-one time.
A practical mix for many families: a home tutor for the main school subjects and one online lesson for a narrow paper. You can rebalance it each term, and switching tutor is free.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Tutors set their own rates, and you see them before booking a demo. The things that push a fee up or down: senior classes and IB or IGCSE papers, one tutor covering several subjects, longer or more frequent lessons, a tutor's experience with that exact syllabus, and how far they travel. A tutor coming by metro from the Yellow Line may quote differently from one who lives in DLF Phase 5. Before the second lesson, agree how missed or moved lessons are charged.
We found no public library or community study room close to The Belaire, so we are not listing one. For most children here, a desk in the flat remains the main study place; the society's own green areas and jogging track, listed by Square Yards, are the easiest spots for a short break between blocks of work.
