Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Spaze Privy is an apartment society in Sector 72, part of the Sohna Road zone of Gurugram. Portals place it roughly a kilometre from Sohna Road and a little further from the Southern Peripheral Road. This guide is about this one society: its towers and gates, the clubhouse, the roads a tutor uses and how to plan lessons around them.
| What | Spaze Privy |
|---|---|
| Sector | Sector 72, Sohna Road zone |
| Developer | Spaze, a Gurgaon-based developer |
| Layout | Eight apartment towers on about 11 acres; 2, 3 and 4 BHK flats and penthouses |
| Status | Ready to move; Square Yards lists possession from May 2014 |
| Gates | Three entry gates on the master plan |
| Clubhouse and sport | Clubhouse, party hall, amphitheatre, pool, gym, tennis, squash, badminton and basketball courts, jogging and cycle track |
| Roads | Sohna Road about 1 km; Southern Peripheral Road about 1.5 km |
| Close by | Vipul Trade Centre office park (about 0.8 km), Casa Bella Garden park (about 0.9 km), Tata Primanti in the same sector |
| Metro | No station close; the trip ends by auto or cab |
Spaze Privy is a single gated society of high-rise towers, not a township. Square Yards lists eight towers on about 10.74 acres and NoBroker rounds it to 11 acres; both describe it as ready to move, and Square Yards gives possession from May 2014. So most families here have lived in their flats for some years and know the gate routine well.
The flats are on the larger side for the zone. Portals list 2 BHK, 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments and 4 BHK penthouses, with listed sizes from about 1,600 to 3,300 sq ft. For lessons, that usually means a spare bedroom or a study can be used, and a tutor does not need to compete with the television in the living room.
The master plan, as summarised on Square Yards, shows more than towers. It marks a school site and a convenience store site inside the plot, a large share of green and open area, and three entry gates. Listed amenities include a clubhouse, a party hall, an amphitheatre, indoor games, a swimming pool, a gym and courts for tennis, squash, badminton and basketball, plus a jogging and cycle track and children's play areas. Security is listed as round-the-clock, with CCTV and an intercom.
The only other residential project in the sector is Tata Primanti, a larger Tata Housing campus on the SPR. A tutor who already teaches a child there has a short hop to Spaze Privy, which is worth asking about when you compare tutors.
The developer, Spaze, is listed on Square Yards as founded in 2005 and headquartered in Gurgaon. Do not confuse this society with Spaze Privy AT4, a separate project that portals place in Sector 84 on the Dwarka Expressway side.
Reviews of Spaze Privy on Square Yards are few, and most are from agents, so treat them as themes rather than verdicts. They still line up with what families tell us they think about.
Then come the questions every parent has: can the tutor teach my child's board, will the same slot hold all term, and is a senior subject better taught online?
Square Yards places Spaze Privy about 1 km from Sohna Road (NH-248A) and about 1.5 km from the Southern Peripheral Road. Tutors coming down Sohna Road from the Sector 47–50 side turn towards the SPR around Vatika Chowk; tutors coming across from Golf Course Extension Road or Sectors 65 and 66 use the sector roads to the SPR. Vipul Trade Centre, listed about 0.8 km away, is a handy landmark to give a tutor who has not visited before.
The metro does not come close. The nearest Yellow Line station is Millennium City Centre, which a Square Yards guide describes as a long auto ride from Vatika Chowk in traffic, and the guide adds that past Sector 49 no station is genuinely close. For the SPR side it suggests the Rapid Metro's Sector 55–56 stop, 5 to 7 km away, again by auto. Tutors on two-wheelers or in their own cars have the easiest trip, especially for lessons after dark.
The SPR in front of the sector is due for major work. GMDA invited bids on 1 October 2026 for an elevated road from Vatika Chowk towards NH-48 that is meant to ease seven junctions between Sectors 69 and 75A. While it is being built, a tutor's usual turn-off may change, so a quick message on the day of the first lesson saves a missed class.
Tutors from Sector 70, Sector 71 and Sector 48 usually have the shortest trips. Square Yards lists Sector 48 under half a kilometre from Sector 72.
Tutors who sign up with NXTutors complete an ID check, which we describe on our tutor-checking page. It does not replace a police or background check, so use the free demo to see how the tutor teaches before the first paid class.
Requests from this part of the SPR are mostly for CBSE, with ICSE/ISC, IB and Cambridge IGCSE also asked for. In the zone, DAV Public School, Sector 49, on our approved Gurugram list, follows CBSE. If your child is on an international board, say which programme and year, because an IGCSE tutor and an IB Diploma tutor plan lessons very differently.
Larger flats make board-specific work easier at home: a desk with space for past papers, a printer for coursework drafts and a wall for a revision timetable. Settle these before the first lesson. For ICSE/ISC students, ask the tutor to bring CISCE specimen papers; for CBSE, the board's sample papers set the pattern. A tutor who has taught your board before will usually ask for the school's own question bank too, because school tests often follow it closely.
Our guide to choosing between CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE covers how the boards differ.
Short, regular visits matter more than long ones. Many families in tower societies set one weekday slot for reading and one for maths, with a tutor who can explain homework in the school's own words. Ask the tutor to leave a small weekly task the child can finish alone.
This is when maths gaps start to show. A maths home tutor in Gurgaon can rebuild fractions, algebra and geometry basics before Class 9, while science stays with the school's book and lab notes.
Board years need a written plan from the first month: which chapters by which test, and when timed papers start. CBSE Class 10 students now have a second, optional board examination for improvement, so the tutor can plan around both attempts.
Subject specialists take over. For physics, chemistry or maths at this level, families here often combine two home sessions with one online. A Class 12 home tutor should know your board's practical and project requirements as well as the theory paper.
For JEE (Main) or NEET (UG), both conducted by the National Testing Agency, a tutor works alongside any coaching programme: doubts, timed problem sets and error logs. Check NTA's own sites for current dates.
Revision months are December to March for most school boards. CISCE posts ICSE and ISC timetables on its site; the IB Diploma has May and November sessions; Cambridge runs March, June and November series in India. In these weeks, ask the tutor to switch from teaching to marked past papers.
Plan around the clubhouse calendar too: society events and holiday parties can be noisy, so keep mock-test days away from them. And when heavy rain or fog slows the SPR, an online session the same evening keeps revision on schedule. Families with a child in Class 10 or 12 often book a slightly longer weekend session in February for full-length timed papers, which suits a tutor better than squeezing them into a weekday evening.
A home tutor works well in Spaze Privy because the flats have room for a proper study corner and the gate routine is simple once set. It suits younger children and students who need someone beside them while they write.
Online lessons make sense for the long trip: a specialist who will not travel to Sector 72 can still teach your child twice a week. They also suit IB and IGCSE coursework reviews, where screen-sharing a draft is natural.
A coaching centre gives a fixed group pace and regular tests, but it means a daily drive out of the sector. If you choose one, a home or online tutor for doubt-clearing often fills the gaps a class of many students leaves.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Within that band, a tutor's quote for Spaze Privy depends on the class and board, the subject, how far the tutor travels to reach Sector 72, and whether you book one child or two in the same visit. Senior specialist subjects sit higher; a combined home-and-online week can bring the per-visit travel down.
Tutors set their own fees and you see them on the shortlist before you pick anyone for the free demo.
Inside the society, portals list a clubhouse and indoor games rooms; ask the facility office whether a quiet corner can be booked for self-study in exam weeks. Casa Bella Garden, a park listed about 0.9 km away, suits a revision walk. We found no public library close by, so this section is brief.

Property listings place Spaze Privy in Sector 72, part of the Sohna Road zone, and give it the PIN code 122018. The first tutors you see here either live in Spaze Privy or are pleased to travel to it. The Sector 72 page starts from the sector as a whole instead, so the two lists differ and both deserve a look.
For home classes inside a residential project, register the tutor once at the gate and share your tower and flat number before the first visit, so lessons start on time. Mention the board and class too, as well as the textbooks your child's school uses.
Tata Primanti is the other Sector 72 project with its own page. A tutor already teaching a family there may be able to add a slot for you. Tell us the class, board and chapters done, and you will receive two or three matched tutors. Teachers from Sector 70, Sector 70A and Sector 71, also in the Sohna Road zone, come after them, with online options at the end, and every fee is visible before you commit to a demo. Each card says why it is shown.
