Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

Yes, a home tutor can come to you anywhere in Sector 60, from the Ireo Skyon towers to the low-rise floors of Samsara and the plotted lanes of Brahma City. Tell NXTutors your society or block, plus the class, board and subject. We put forward two or three matched tutors with each fee visible up front, and the first class is a free demo, at home or online. Switching tutor at any later point is free.
Sector 60 sits in the middle stretch of the Golf Course Extension Road zone, well south of the metro. Most of what follows is about getting a tutor to a sector that is easy to reach by road and hard to reach without one.
| What | Sector 60 |
|---|---|
| Zone | Golf Course Extension Road, Gurugram |
| Main road | Golf Course Extension Road, on which the sector's listed projects sit |
| Housing | High-rise apartments (Ireo Skyon), independent floors (Adani Samsara) and plots and floors in Brahma City |
| Landmarks | The Lemon Tree hotel, Paras Trinity across the road in Sector 63, Capital Cyberscape offices nearby |
| Neighbouring sectors | 59, 61, 63 and 63A |
| Metro | None in the sector; the nearest operating station is Rapid Metro Sector 55–56 at the northern end of the road |
| Junction to plan around | The Pioneer Park signal to the north, one of five on the road under study for a flyover or underpass |
| Boards families ask about | CBSE and ICSE most often, plus IB and Cambridge IGCSE |
Property portals list three quite different kinds of housing in Sector 60: tall towers, independent floors and residential plots. Each gives a visiting tutor a different arrival.
Ireo Skyon is the sector's high-rise society, mapped by OpenStreetMap beside a lane named Skyon Road. Its master plan shows blocks lettered A to F on about 18 acres, with some towers rising to around 39 floors, and a central clubhouse. Listings place it behind the Lemon Tree hotel, a handy landmark for a first-time visitor. A preschool runs on a nursery site opposite the society.
Adani Samsara is the low-rise side. Adani's own page for its M Block describes 3 and 4 BHK independent floors, part of a larger integrated development, with a club called the Belvedere Club still under development. Here a tutor usually climbs a staircase or takes a small lift to one floor of a building, rather than queuing for a tower lift.
Portals list several pockets of Brahma City in Sector 60, including an M Block and Samsara parts, along with Ireo City plots. OpenStreetMap maps Brahma City as its own residential area here. Homes in a plotted layout are found by block and plot number, so directions matter more than a gate pass.
When you ask for a tutor, say which of the three you live in; it changes the arrival advice we give the tutor.
These themes come from resident reviews on property portals and from news reports on the Extension Road. They are paraphrased and turned into planning points; none is a judgement on any developer or society.
Golf Course Extension Road is the way in for nearly everyone. Tutors from the DLF side and Sushant Lok come down Golf Course Road to the Ghata end and then south along the Extension Road, passing the Pioneer Park signal. Tutors from Sohna Road, Nirvana Country and the SPR sectors come up from Vatika Chowk, where an underpass opened in 2023 links the Extension Road and the Southern Peripheral Road. OpenStreetMap also shows CRPF Road running off the Extension Road to the north-west of the sector.
No metro line serves Sector 60 today. The nearest operating station is Rapid Metro Sector 55–56, at the Golf Course Road end, which leaves a longish cab or auto ride south. A planned Sector 56–Pachgaon line lists stations for neighbouring Sectors 61 and 62, but construction is listed from 2029, so it should not shape this year's plans.
For Skyon, the Lemon Tree hotel and Skyon Road. For Samsara, Paras Trinity, which Adani describes as directly opposite. For offices nearby, Capital Cyberscape. A map pin for the actual gate saves the most time.
Sector 60 is far enough down the Extension Road that the tutor's starting point decides how reliable the class will be. Four kinds of tutor tend to suit it.
When you ask, say which you would accept. A wider radius gives more choice; a narrower one gives a steadier timetable.
At Ireo Skyon. Approve the tutor with security before the demo and give the block letter, from A to F, and the flat number. Listings mention 24x7 security and CCTV. In a tall tower, allow a few minutes for the lift at busy hours.
At Samsara. Adani's page notes there is no visitor parking at the M Block, with one slot per apartment. Tell the tutor in advance where a car or scooter can wait without blocking a neighbour, or suggest they come by cab.
In Brahma City plots. Share the block, the plot number and a map pin, and switch on the porch light for an evening class.
A woman tutor. If you prefer one, say so when you ask; see woman tutors for Gurgaon homes. For a class ending after dark, ask how she plans the trip home.
ID check. Every tutor who joins NXTutors goes through an ID check, which means confirming a phone or email by one-time code and uploading a government photo ID for review by our team; read how we check tutors. It is not a police check, so keep an adult at home and meet the tutor at the free demo.
No school on our approved Gurugram list is inside Sector 60. In the same zone, named alphabetically and neutrally, Heritage Xperiential Learning School in neighbouring Sector 62 follows CBSE, and Scottish High International School in Sector 57 offers IB, Cambridge IGCSE and ICSE/ISC. NXTutors has no tie-up with either school.
For a home tutor, the housing changes the routine more than the board does: a tower flat at Skyon and a floor at Samsara both work for CBSE, ICSE, IB or IGCSE. What the tutor needs is the exact syllabus and the books. Our guide to choosing a board covers the differences; for international boards see IGCSE tutors in Gurgaon.
Because Sector 60 is a drive for most tutors, the steadiest choice for a young child is someone who already teaches in the sector or next door in 59, 61 or 62. Short sessions three or four times a week, at a fixed hour, build the habit. See primary home tutors.
A single tutor for maths and science, twice a week, usually covers this stage. Pick days that do not clash with school activities, so the plan survives a full term.
Board years call for longer sessions and practice papers. With a longish drive on the Extension Road, fewer but longer classes, for example two 90-minute sessions a week, often beat three short ones. A maths tutor in Gurgaon can set timed papers between visits.
Specialists for physics, chemistry, maths, biology, accountancy and economics may live far from the sector. A weekend home class plus online sessions in the week is a common answer. Mention JEE or NEET plans so the tutor plans for both the board and the entrance exam.
CBSE now gives Class 10 students a second board examination in the year, for improvement, alongside the main one; CISCE, IB and Cambridge each run their own calendars. Take dates from cbse.gov.in, cisce.org, ibo.org and cambridgeinternational.org only. In the run-up, settle extra classes early, prefer weekend mornings when the Extension Road is calmer, and keep online as the fallback for rain.
From Sector 60, a coaching batch usually means a car trip at the busiest hour, which suits a teenager who wants a group and a fixed timetable. A home tutor costs more per hour but brings one-to-one attention to your table and spares you the drive. An online tutor removes travel for everyone and opens up specialists from anywhere.
Given the distance from the metro, many families here pair a home tutor for one or two subjects with online sessions for the rest.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Each tutor names their own rate, and you see it on the shortlist before the demo. What moves it in Sector 60: the class, board and level; a single paper versus a full subject; the tutor's experience with that syllabus; the length of the drive along the Extension Road and the hour of the class; and how many sessions you book each week. A tutor who already has a class in Skyon or Samsara that evening may find yours easier to fit. Online sessions can be cheaper as there is no journey. Switching tutor later is free.
We found no public library in or beside Sector 60 to recommend. Skyon's listings describe a central clubhouse, and Samsara's Belvedere Club is still being developed; whether children may study there is for each society to decide. A fixed study corner at home remains the simplest option.

Before a first class in Sector 60, it helps to have four things ready for the tutor: the board, the class, the school textbooks and a short note of chapters already covered. With those in hand, a demo lesson can pick up where your child actually is rather than starting from page one.
Adani Samsara and Ireo Skyon Towers B–D are the two projects in this sector with pages of their own. If your home is elsewhere in Sector 60, this page is the right place. Pioneer Urban Araya is another neighbouring page on our map, and its tutors may well cover this sector. It sits in the Golf Course Extension Road zone alongside Sector 57, Sector 56 and Sector 55, and zone-level tutors appear once those based in or travelling to Sector 60 have been listed.
Our school list has no entry inside Sector 60, so simply tell us where your child studies and which board it uses. For a specialist subject in a senior class, an online session each week can sit alongside home lessons, and Sun City, Vipul Belmonte and Emaar Emerald Hills share the PIN code 122011 with Sector 60, and each tutor's fee appears on the card before any demo is booked.
