Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more. Tutors set their own fee, and you see each tutor's fee before the demo class.
Monthly example: 3 one-hour classes a week ≈ ₹9,600–₹32,500 a month (12–13 classes at ₹800–₹2,500 an hour). An example, not a quote: your tutor's own fee decides the real figure.

DLF Phase 2 is in our Golf Course Road zone, though on the map it sits right against Cyber City, Gurugram's office district. That closeness to offices, and to two Rapid Metro stops, decides most of the practical questions below. For the wider city, see Gurugram home tutors.
| What | DLF Phase 2 |
|---|---|
| Where | Mapped in Sector 25, beside Sector 25A (Cyber City and Cyber Hub) and Sector 24 |
| Housing | Plotted houses and builder floors on lettered blocks such as M and N; apartment towers on the edges |
| Metro | DLF Phase 2 and Belvedere Towers stops on the Rapid Metro loop; Sikanderpur (Yellow Line) one stop away |
| Roads | Mehrauli–Gurgaon Road on the south side, Jacaranda Marg inside the phase, the Cyber City roads to the west |
| Local landmarks | DLF Central Arcade, DLF Square, M Block Park, Gulmohar Marg Park |
| Nearest schools on our list | The Shri Ram School (Moulsari, DLF Phase 3) and Shiv Nadar School (DLF Phase 1) |
| Session windows that hold | Mid to late afternoon, before the offices empty; or a later evening slot once they have |
DLF Phase 2 is mapped as a residential area in Sector 25. Its homes are on lettered blocks, and the letters show up in mapped addresses: M Block Park and an M-block building inside the phase, and the Belvedere Towers metro stop listed at N-6. A property portal describes the locality as lying between Sectors 25 and 25A, largely built by DLF, and close to Cyber City and Cyber Hub.
The housing is mostly plotted. Houses on DLF plots have, in many cases, been rebuilt as builder floors, so one address can hold two or three families on different floors. On the edges of the phase there are DLF apartment projects such as the Belvedere Towers in Sector 25A, which have their own gates and tower numbers.
The phase also has its own shopping and office strips. DLF Central Arcade and DLF Square are mapped as commercial blocks inside or beside it, and Cyber Hub lies just across in Sector 25A. Ambience Mall stands on Golf Drive in neighbouring Sector 24.
Two things follow. First, many homes in the phase are a short walk from offices, so the evening traffic that a tutor meets is office traffic, not school traffic. Second, floors mean a staircase, a floor number and sometimes a shared gate, which a tutor needs to know before the first visit.
Inside a floor, the quietest lesson room is often a bedroom with a desk rather than the living room, especially if a parent works from home and takes calls during the session.
Public reviews of the phase are few. The points below come from a property portal's locality page and from news reports, turned into planning advice.
Beyond these, families ask what any parent asks: will the tutor keep a fixed weekly slot, and do they know my child's board? Those are covered below.
Rapid Metro. DLF Phase 2 lies on the Rapid Metro's original loop round Cyber City. Leaving Sikanderpur, the train stops at DLF Phase 2, then Belvedere Towers, Cyber City, Moulsari Avenue and DLF Phase 3. Beyond DLF Phase 2 the loop runs on a single track. The DLF Phase 2 stop is mapped at the Sikanderpur end in Sector 24, and Belvedere Towers in Sector 25, so most homes in the phase are close to one of the two.
Yellow Line. Sikanderpur station, one stop back, is also on the Delhi Metro Yellow Line between Guru Dronacharya and MG Road, linked to the Rapid Metro by a walkway. A tutor from Delhi or from the older parts of Gurugram can change there and ride one stop.
Road. Mehrauli–Gurgaon Road runs along the south of the phase, with Sikanderpur and DLF Phase 1 beyond it. Jacaranda Marg is one of the named roads inside the phase. On the west, the Cyber City roads link to NH-48. A tutor coming up Golf Course Road joins near Sikanderpur, where the corridor has a flyover and an underpass.
Where tutors tend to come from. Short trips come from DLF Phase 1 and Phase 3, the Belvedere and Beverly Park societies, Sector 24 and the MG Road belt. A tutor from further south on Golf Course Road usually rides the metro up.
A property-portal guide gives Rapid Metro hours as roughly 6 am to 10 pm, so a tutor booked for a late slot should have a vehicle.
The office blocks next door decide when roads around the phase are busiest. In practice that gives three kinds of slot.
If both parents work in Cyber City, an online class on a weekday evening with a home class at the weekend is a pattern that often fits.
In a builder floor or house: share the block letter, house number, floor and a map pin. Say whether there is a lift. Point out a spot where a car or two-wheeler can stand for an hour, because lanes near the commercial strips fill up.
In an apartment tower: register the tutor at the gate before the demo with the tower and flat number, and ask the guard for a standing visitor entry once the tutor is regular.
Every tutor who signs up with us confirms a phone number or email with a one-time code and uploads a government photo ID, which our team then reviews; see how we check tutors. That is an ID check, not a police or background check. Meet the tutor at the free demo, keep lessons in a room that others pass through, and have an adult at home for younger children. A woman home tutor can be requested at the start.
No school on our approved Gurugram list sits inside DLF Phase 2. Two are close: The Shri Ram School's Moulsari campus in DLF Phase 3, which shows ICSE/ISC, Cambridge IGCSE and IB on its own site, and Shiv Nadar School in DLF Phase 1, E-Block, which shows CBSE, IB and Cambridge IGCSE. Families in the phase therefore ask about all of these boards. NXTutors has no tie-up with any school.
For a tutor, the board decides what to bring and how to mark. ICSE and ISC work leans on written answers in full sentences; IGCSE and IB work leans on syllabus codes, levels and past papers. Tell us which applies. Our board comparison guide covers the differences, and the ICSE home tutor page goes further for that board.
Classes 1 to 5. Phonics and reading, tables and mental maths, neat written work. Two or three short sessions a week, in the afternoon slot before offices close.
Classes 6 to 8. The jump to algebra, separate science chapters and longer English answers. A combined maths and science tutor is common. Ask for a short weekly note on what was covered.
Classes 9 and 10. Board-year subjects, with past papers from the second term. ICSE families often want help with English language and literature as well as maths and science; see English home tutors.
Classes 11 and 12, IB DP. One subject per tutor, as a rule. Chemistry and physics at this level often call for a specialist; a chemistry tutor in Gurgaon can come home once a week and add an online class for doubts. IB families should name the level and the paper.
Exam calendars differ by board. ISC, ICSE and CBSE board papers follow each board's own announced timetable; IB Diploma exams fall in the May or November session; Cambridge entries can be in March, June or November. Ask the tutor to map the extra sessions against your child's actual dates once the school shares them.
Weekend sessions are easier to add in this phase because the office district next door is quiet then.
Home tuition suits children who need someone beside them to check working, and it is straightforward when the tutor comes by metro to one of the two nearby stops.
Online tuition suits late weekday evenings, a single IB or IGCSE paper, and parents who are at work during the lesson. See online tutors for Gurgaon.
A coaching centre suits a child who works well in a group and keeps a fixed timetable. Many families add a home tutor to go over what the centre covered.
For working parents here, the common mix is online on weekdays and home at the weekend, with the same tutor for both.
Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
Each tutor names their own fee, and it is on the shortlist before your demo. What moves it: the board and class, the depth of the subject, how far the tutor travels and at what hour, and how many sessions you book each week. A tutor who arrives by metro and walks from DLF Phase 2 or Belvedere Towers station has little travel to price in. Online classes skip travel altogether. Switching tutor later is free.
OpenStreetMap shows two parks inside the phase, M Block Park and Gulmohar Marg Park. The Aravali Biodiversity Park, with trails and seasonal opening hours, is a short way east along Mehrauli–Gurgaon Road near Guru Dronacharya station. None of these is a study room; they are for a walk before or after revision. We found no public library in the phase.
Each link opens the Gurugram page for that board, subject or class. Tell us you are in DLF Phase 2 and we look for tutors who can reach you, or teach online.

DLF Phase 2 is one of the older DLF phases, with independent floors on residential lanes and a few apartment clusters, and it lies close to the city's office district around Cyber City and MG Road. That location shapes home tuition here more than anything else: the roads nearby fill up twice a day as offices open and empty, in both directions, and many parents work in those same offices and get home late.
Two arrangements work well. The first is an early class, soon after the school bus drops your child home and before the evening office rush. The second, for families where both parents work late, is online classes on weekdays with the same tutor and a longer home session at the weekend when a parent is in. Whichever you choose, keep the weekday slot fixed: rescheduling at short notice is hard when every road is busy at the same hour. Ask the tutor whether they will come from home or from another class nearby, because a tutor already teaching in the phases that evening is usually more punctual.
DLF Phase 2 belongs to our Golf Course Road zone, and it borders the MG Road and Cyber City zone, so tutors listed on either zone page may suit you. In a floor, the tutor walks straight to the door, so share the house number, a map pin and where to park; narrow lanes make a two-wheeler easier than a car.
Requests from the phases are specific: CBSE and ICSE families most often ask for maths and physics or chemistry help in Classes 9 to 12, and international-school families for one IB or IGCSE component; see IB tutors and IGCSE tutors in Gurgaon. Neighbouring DLF Phase 1 and Phase 3 have their own pages.
You get two or three matched tutors with each fee shown before the free demo class, and switching tutor later is free. Across NXTutors, most home-tuition sessions fall between ₹800 and ₹2,500 an hour; Classes 11–12, IB/IGCSE and JEE/NEET sit toward the upper end; specialists for IB HL or JEE Advanced can charge more.
