Sushant Lok 2 is a plotted colony from the Ansal group. Square Yards lists it with Sector 55 and Sector 56 close by and Sun City under a kilometre away, and portals give addresses for it in Sectors 55, 56 and 57. It is not a single gated estate, so there is no one main gate or clubhouse; each street and society runs its own arrangements.
The housing comes in three kinds. Most common are builder floors: plotted houses split into separate floors, often with a family on each. Then there are cooperative group-housing societies (CGHS), the mid-rise blocks run by their members' own committees; Square Yards lists The Surya Apartments CGHS, a society on about an acre, under Sushant Lok II. Finally there are small Ansal floor projects, such as Ansal Sushant Floors and Ansal Executive Residency, which portals also file under the phase.
OpenStreetMap marks the colony west of Sector 56, with Sushant Lok 2 Main Road running east to the Rapid Metro terminus. Along and just off that road sit Hong Kong Bazaar, an indoor market building, and the MKM Market Road. Societies mapped on the Sector 56 side include Kendriya Vihar, Devender Vihar and Jal Vayu Towers, with a HUDA Market and HUDA Park a short way north-east. In May 2022 the state's town planning department ordered the colony's roads, parks and services handed to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, along with Sushant Lok 3 and seven other private colonies.
For a tutor, the useful detail is the exact kind of home. A floor on a plotted street, a CGHS flat and an Ansal floor project each mean a different arrival, so say which you live in when you ask.
Public reviews of Sector 56 on NoBroker, where much of the colony sits, return to a handful of themes. We turn each into a planning step rather than a verdict.
The Rapid Metro is the colony's own rail link. Its southern terminus, Sector 55-56, stands at the eastern end of Sushant Lok 2 Main Road on OpenStreetMap, and the next stop north is Sector 54 Chowk. The line runs up Golf Course Road to Sikanderpur, where it meets the Yellow Line, so a tutor living along either line can reach you without driving. Send them the walk or auto route from the station exit to your block.
The Yellow Line itself ends at Millennium City Centre, which NoBroker puts about 5.3 km from Sector 56. A tutor who comes that way finishes by road, usually by auto or cab, so their trip is longer than one via the Rapid Metro.
By road, portals describe the colony as close to Golf Course Extension Road, with the Southern Peripheral Road a short way off, while the Rapid Metro follows Golf Course Road north. Tutors from the DLF phases, Sun City or Sector 54 usually come down Golf Course Road; tutors from Sohna Road or Nirvana Country come across on the sector roads. Ask each shortlisted tutor where they will start from on lesson days, and pick a time that keeps them out of the evening rush on Golf Course Road.
Builder floor: send the house number, floor, street and a map pin. Shared staircases make it easy to ring the wrong bell, so say which one is yours. If parking on the street is tight, point to a legal spot for the tutor's two-wheeler.
CGHS or Ansal floor project: give the society name, tower and flat to the guard or add the tutor to the visitor app before the demo. Ask the managing committee whether a regular tutor can be pre-approved for fixed days, so the gate does not call you every week.

Look for a tutor who can come at the same hour on fixed weekdays, not one who juggles the slot. Young children need short sessions that follow the school diary: reading aloud, handwriting, tables and simple word problems. A tutor from Sector 56 or 57 can often start soon after the school bus has dropped your child home.
